Eve Sherman's expression was somewhat troubled, but she realized that now, in front of Stellan Sutton, it wasn't the best time to elaborate. She simply nodded and said, "After what happened last time, I've started discussing divorce with the other party."
After speaking, she felt as if she might have unintentionally implied something to Stellan, so she explained, "It has nothing to do with you; it's just something I can't get past myself."
Stellan nodded, "Don't worry, you have rejected me quite explicitly. I won't overthink it."
"That's good."
"Is the divorce going smoothly?"
Stellan asked.
Eve thought for a moment and nodded, "He's a good man, and when I mentioned the divorce, he didn't say much, only asked when I had the time. Once I'm done here, I'll go back to handle the divorce."
"What are your plans after the divorce?"
Stellan's every word carried a hint of inquiry. Eve furrowed her brow slightly, puzzled, and glanced at him.
