Seeing that Lucas was running out of steam, Eve Sherman shook her head helplessly, "Alright, I get what you're saying. I'll go to work tomorrow, and we can talk about work then!"
"Okay, it's settled then. President Sutton specifically came to me to discuss this with you because he was worried that if he talked to you himself, you might be upset. After all, you've put a lot of time and effort into the Keystone case, and you know his personality. He just can't say those things to you directly; only I, the messenger, can convey them."
Eve Sherman smiled with lowered eyes, "Alright, I know you have a way with words. I'll do as you said."
"Okay then, it's settled! I'll go back and report now."
Lucas felt accomplished, happily gave Eve Sherman a hug, and returned to the company.
