After admitting that her cooking skills were a total disaster, Eve Sherman just felt like she had no dignity left whatsoever.
"I'm not eating anymore. I'm not learning to cook anyway, I don't even have time. Work is already busy enough, I might as well just hire a housekeeper to cook for me every day."
"If you're married, you've got to live a proper life. What kind of housekeeper? You want one cooking for you every day, living with you all the time? Wouldn't you feel awkward? No privacy at all, right?"
As Mrs. Sherman spoke, she took out her phone, put on her reading glasses, and started scrolling through her contacts.
"Grandma, what are you doing?"
Eve, afraid she'd make that call again, asked in confusion.
"I know a chef who specifically teaches people how to cook. I'm calling right now to sign you up. From now on, you'll have to go and learn properly. Otherwise, I absolutely won't let you off the hook!"
