Eve Sherman didn't go anywhere else but went straight back to the company.
Stellan Sutton was in the office reading documents, seemingly unaffected by anything.
Eve looked at him somewhat suspiciously, not quite understanding the chaotic nature of their relationship.
"What's wrong?"
As she was contemplating, Stellan suddenly looked up and met her thoughtful gaze.
Eve frowned, thought for a moment, and still said, "President Sutton, I have something I want to discuss with you."
Hearing this, Stellan paused, then closed the documents and leaned back in his chair, looking ready to listen, "Go ahead, what's it about?"
Eve took a deep breath and looked at Stellan, "It's like this, about that previous interview..."
"Oh, you mean your husband, right?"
Stellan interrupted her calmly.
"Even though it might seem like I'm abusing my position, before I explain, I want to ask why he didn't pass the interview?"
