After more than ten minutes, the rain finally eased a bit. With Stellan Sutton's consent, Eve Sherman resumed driving.
The car drove out of Ardane, heading south.
After exiting the highway, there was still a small road to travel.

After struggling for a while, Eve Sherman decided to steer the car onto a nearby side road.
To her surprise, shortly after driving in, she saw numerous roadblocks ahead, surrounded by people in raincoats encircling the car.
Eve Sherman furrowed her brow, instinctively locking the car door.
Their opponent aggressively knocked on the car window, signaling for her to get out.
