"Have they all arrived?"
The person's voice, hoarse and ambiguous, seemed both male and female. Listening to it was overwhelmingly discomforting.
"They've all arrived."
Deng Wen nodded.
His gaze swept over both people, unable to resist asking, "Why didn't Xu Wei come?"
"Xu Wei isn't feeling well, so he sent us to pick you up."
The black-cloaked figure seemed to perceive Deng Wen's concerns, "Don't worry, since we've taken your money, we'll naturally get you where you need to go."
"Hahaha, how could we be worried?"
Deng Wen laughed, denying it.
Yet being unconcerned around these strange individuals would indeed be odd.
"Get in the car."
The black-cloaked figure didn't waste more words, pulling out a wooden cart.
The cart was simple, its patina and scratches proving it had been used for many years.
