"Oh! Doctor Jiang, what are you saying? I don't trust anyone else, but I do trust you."
Jiang Ran's response to the old lady's words was neither here nor there.
Whether the old lady trusted her or not wasn't really important to Jiang Ran.
After all, the facts were right there. She might not believe them now, but eventually, she would.
The old lady still looked earnestly at Jiang Ran, "Doctor Jiang, my daughter-in-law is pregnant now. Is there anything she needs to pay special attention to? Should she be taking some medicine?"
Jiang Ran looked over curiously, "She's pregnant, not sick, why should she take medicine?"
"No." The old lady chuckled twice, "Isn't it said that you should take some medicine to stabilize the pregnancy?"
"The pregnancy is perfectly fine, why take medicine? Medicine is three parts poison, too much isn't good."
When she heard the first part of what Jiang Ran said, the old lady's face already turned unpleasant.
