"You're telling me to buy a ticket and leave now?" Jiang Yi asked in disbelief.
Jiang Ran nodded slightly, "Yes. If you buy the ticket now, you should still be able to get one. If you wait any longer, it'll probably be hard to get."
Upon hearing Jiang Ran's words, Jiang Yi felt even more incredulous, "Are you really asking me to leave?"
Jiang Ran asked back strangely, "What else? Your grandfather is already gone. If you don't go home, what are you doing here?"
"Grandfather left, why didn't you leave with him? Didn't he come to take you home?"
Jiang Ran's expression became serious, "My home is here. I don't need anyone to take me home."
"But—"
"No buts. I still have things to do. You should hurry back."
After speaking, Jiang Ran ignored Jiang Yi and turned to enter the workspace.
Jiang Yi stood there, watching Jiang Ran's figure get further away, her features almost contorting.
