Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 – Coach, I Want to Learn Swordsmanship!

{Drawn – Trident ×7}

{Drawn – Succubus Angel Outfit}

Ren stared silently at the risqué cosplay costume in his hands.

After a long pause—he stuffed the thing under his bed.

It might come in handy one day.

He was a proper gentleman who didn't dabble in perversion or heresy...

But if it was consensual, that was another matter entirely, wasn't it?

Worth mentioning, his current bed was the one from Minecraft — it didn't have any magical properties aside from being ridiculously comfortable.

Ren turned to check the rest of his prizes, then fell into silence.

One minute later—He kicked open Zoro's door and barged into the room in broad daylight, grabbing the half-asleep swordsman by the shoulder.

"Coach, I want to learn swordsmanship!"

Two minutes later.

With a bump the size of a goose egg on his head, Ren trudged past the fragrant kitchen under Nojiko's puzzled gaze, sulking his way back to the captain's cabin to calm down.

Fair enough. Disturbing someone's sleep deserved a beating—especially when that someone had been standing night watch and had just gone to bed.

"Still… quite a haul."

Sitting cross-legged, Ren opened the Silver Roulette rewards list—each spin as generous as ever.

The first prize he drew looked like this:

[Sword Heart]

Origin:Scissor Seven

Type: Talent

Effect: The affinity with blades that only sword geniuses possess. Greatly enhances learning speed, comprehension, and mastery.

Cost: None

Note:Live by the sword, die by the sword!

Talents were hard to quantify—but seeing the phrase "greatly enhances" was a first.

Ren figured it meant one of two things: either his sword talent was abysmally low... or Sword Heart was absurdly powerful.

Either way, his excitement made sense—hence why he'd stormed into Zoro's room. (For the record, Zoro's room had been converted into a storage closet with a floor mattress.)

Ren had stepped on him twice before realizing it.

Anyway, what mattered was that the missing piece in his growth was finally filled. Sword training could officially begin.

And the next prize complemented it perfectly.

[Thunder Breathing Technique]

Origin:Demon Slayer

Type: Body-Training Art

Effect: A breathing style emphasizing speed and power, including Forms 1–6 and accompanying physical regimens. Known as "swift as thunder, elusive as shadow."Requires a naturally strong physique. Upon mastering Total Concentration, enhances cardiac and pulmonary function, allowing the body to take in large volumes of oxygen and explosively increase physical ability for short bursts.Sustained training (Total Concentration: Constant) continuously strengthens the user's body until the breathing technique's limit.

Cost: Stamina

Ren silently lit the finest incense for the Mazu Golden Idol and bowed deeply.

The Thunder Breathing Technique was perfect for his current situation—low entry barrier, high ceiling, perfectly matching his potential.

As for those lofty arts from Scissor Seven? Honestly, he doubted anything truly powerful could appear in a 10-million-Beli prize pool. If it did, it'd be a defective version at best.

With the big prizes out of the way, Ren looked through the rest.

[Eye of the Herald – Constant]

Origin:Runeterra

Type: Magical Item

Effect: Contains the residual soul of the Rift Herald. After infusing energy, manifests its true form to perform a headbutt attack toward a designated area.

Cost: Mana

Current Charge: 1/1

Note: Can substitute Mana Crystal for recharge.

An old friend, but slightly different this time.

It was now a ring — a band set with a familiar magic-eye gem. Within the eerie blue jewel, a giant beast slumbered.

Ren thought for a moment, then slipped it onto his left index finger.

"Still needs Mana Crystals though?"

He mused aloud. The only time he'd drawn Mana Crystals before was from the High-Tier VIP Roulette, used for teleportation.

[Mana Crystal]

Origin: Multiverse

Type: Consumable

Effect: A crystal rich in condensed energy, often used as material for rituals or spell formations.

Cost: None

Back then, things had been too hectic for him to study it closely.

Now, he decided it'd be wise to stock up—teleportation was way too useful to go without.

Next was a crate of Explosive Tags.

A quick check showed hundreds of them. Ren immediately shoved the box into Chester's mouth for safekeeping.

No need to accidentally blow up both the ship and himself.

The rest of the prizes were a bit underwhelming, though still decent enough.

Most came from Minecraft.

The anvil? An old friend. His last one was left forgotten in some basement.

Now he had a whole stack of them—fate works in strange ways.

He also got a batch of square tridents, and three shimmering books.

[Trident ×7]

Origin:Minecraft

Type: Rule Weapon

Effect: A blocky trident imbued with Piercing and Sharpness properties. Can stab or be thrown.

Cost: Durability

Pretty useless—probably the cheapest prize in the batch.

Ren shrugged and continued.

[Enchanted Book: Loyalty ×3]

Origin:Minecraft

Type: Low-Dimensional Rule Item

Effect: Can enchant weapons using an Anvil or Enchanting Table. The Loyalty enchantment binds a weapon to its user, causing it to return automatically when thrown.

Cost: None

Now this was useful.

If his Doran Sword in the Arlong Park battle had Loyalty, he wouldn't have lost it.

[Enchanted Book: Riptide ×2]

Origin:Minecraft

Type: Low-Dimensional Rule Item

Effect: Can enchant weapons with Riptide, granting flight ability during rain.

Cost: None

[Enchanted Book: Channeling ×2]

Origin:Minecraft

Type: Low-Dimensional Rule Item

Effect: Can enchant weapons with Channeling, allowing them to summon lightning when thrown in a thunderstorm.

Cost: None

Those two weren't very practical—too weather-dependent.

But since he'd played Minecraft before, Ren suddenly recalled something.

"Wait... the Thunder God build? Loyalty, Riptide, Channeling—all three together?"

He could already picture it:

Scene: a thunderstorm.

Character: Ren, wielding a triple-enchanted trident.

Event: The airborne Thunder God descends upon his foes, hurling divine retribution from above. The trident, roaring with lightning, pierces the battlefield—only to return to his grasp, ready to strike again.

Basically, a human bomber plane. Shrug emoji.

Ren thought for a moment, then casually placed an anvil in the corner.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

After a few sharp strikes, a three-enchantment trident gleamed in his hand.
