Before the first arc truly begins, I want to take a moment to speak directly to you.
First of all thank you!
Reaching 40 chapters is something I honestly didn't expect when I started this story, and it's only happened because people kept reading and sticking around.
To be completely honest, when I began writing this novel, I wasn't sure anyone would like it at all. I had a lot of doubts. But then I started seeing people add it to their collection, even if it's not many and the views slowly grow. I took that as a sign that there are readers out there who enjoy what I'm creating, and that alone means more to me than I can put into words.
Even though I haven't received a fully genuine review or long comment yet, I still have full faith in this story. Enough faith that I haven't applied for a contract. I want this novel to grow on its own first, to stand on its own, and to be something I'm truly proud of.
That said, this prologue has grown much larger and heavier than I originally planned. Pushing straight into the first arc right now would mean rushing it and that isn't what this story deserves.
I'm exhausted. Not quitting, not dropping the novel just tired. If I keep going without resting, I won't be able to give you a fully fleshed-out first arc with the quality, pacing, and depth it needs.
So I'm taking a short break.
During this time, I'll be resting, reorganizing the plot, refining the power system, and preparing the first arc properly so that when the story resumes, it does so with momentum instead of fatigue.
