The thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine stretched endlessly into the distance, bright vermilion, like a series of gateways. They split into left and right paths. The children darted in and out, their shadows flickering between light and dark, having the time of their lives.
The scenery here was incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, there were no cherry blossoms in this season — only the red shrine standing solemnly amid the quiet mountains.
