Goku reactivated his triple power-up - Demon Slayer Mark, Transparent World and Demon Form - and was ready to fight Kokushibo once again. (I can't be afraid... If I do, the Transparent World'll deactivate...) thought the boy. (He really is scaring with that face of his... I probably found away to defeat him...)
"Bring it on, nephew!" exclaimed Kokushibo, grabbing his enormous sword and swinging it around, aiming it to Goku. The Sun Hashira blocked the blow with both of his sword, but got sent a few feet away. "Moon Breathing: Fifth Form -- Moon Spirit Calamitous Eddy!" exclaimed the six-eyed demon. "Sun Breathing: Ninth Form .. Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance!" said Goku, trying to focus as more as possible not to lose Transparent World. The two of them clashed heavily, and the room started to shake.
"Do they want to destroy the entire room?" wondered Giyuu. "No. Goku-kun has a plan," said Rengoku. "He wants to defeat Kokushibo morally by making himself understand the monster he has become. And also because he wants to know more about his father..."
"Eighth Form -- Moon-Dragon Tail!" exclaimed Kokushibo. But Goku dodged. "Tenth Form -- Fake Rainbow," he said, disappearing. Then, the boy reappeared behind Kokushibo and said something that shocked everyone.
"Blood Demon Art: Shining Sun Flames." Goku activated his blood Demon Art for the first time, and with both of his swords wrapped in flames, the boy hit Kokushibo on the chest, slowing his regeneration. "Fourteenth Form -- Catastrophe, Tenman Crescent Moon!" exclaimed Kokushibo. Goku jumped back. "Blood Demon Art: Fiery, Disruptive Blades!" he exclaimed, and his two swords released a slash in Kokushibo's direction, who managed to block. "Twelfth Form -- Flame Dance!" said Goku, landing on the floor and attacking Kokushibo. The demon dodged the attack, but when the second one arrived, he couldn't dodge.
"Blood Demon Art: Solar Cut!" exclaimed Goku, releasing a horizontal slash to Kokushibo's torso. (He's getting the upper hand...) realized Kokushibo. "Tenth Form -- Drilling Slashes, Moon Through Bamboo Leaves!" he exclaimed, trying to send Goku away. "Ninth Form -- Fake Rainbow," said Goku, disappearing. Then, he reappeared. Then disappeared again. And again. And again. (Is he kidding me?) thought Kokushibo, trying to follow Goku's movements. (I have six eyes, and I still can't follow his movements... He only has one, but he knows everything I'll do...)
"Blood Demon Art: Turbo Sun!" exclaimed Goku, appearing behind Kokushibo and stabbing him in the chest. Then, with his other katana, he aimed for the demon's head. But Kokushibo managed to break free. (He moves exactly like him... This pisses me off so badly...) thought Kokushibo. Then, enraged, he screamed:
"YORIICHIIII!"
"HAVE YOU FINALLY GOT SENILE, YOU BASTARD? WATASHI WA GOKU TSUGIKUNI DAYO!"
"Sun Breathing, Thirteenth Form -- PERPETUAL LIGHT!"
Without hesitating, Goku sprinted forward, attacking Kokushibo with everything he had. (I can't resist a minute longer with this triple power-up activated... I have to end this now...) thought the boy, while releasing his most powerful blows to his uncle. (I-impossible... I can't win...) realized Kokushibo. Then, while blocking one of Goku's blows, the demon saw himself in the reflect of the blade.
(What have I become...? Is this what I really wanted... I'm trying to kill my own nephew... I'm such a damn fool...! First my brother, now even my nephew surpassed me... What am I fighting for anymore? I... I'll let him kill me. Once he beheaded me, I'll tell him about Yoriichi, as he wanted, and then I'll turn into ashes... I sought power, I obtained ugliness, foolness and I lost my humanity... I truly deserve to die.)
"Sun Breathing: Second Form -- Clear Blue Sky!" exclaimed Goku. Kokushibo didn't dodge. Didn't even move. Goku's blade collided with his neck, but it was very hard. "Third Form -- Raging Sun!" exclaimed the Sun Hashira, using his other katana. And finally, after what seemed an eternity...
Kokushibo got beheaded.
This time, his head fell, but it didn't regenerate. (I don't want to regerate anymore... Even if I do, he'd behead me again... He's become stronger than me, at this point...) thought Kokushibo. The demon's body fell, and slowly, it began to turn into ashes. (This time, he isn't regenerating... Why?) wondered Goku. "You've fought splendidly, nephew. Victory is yours," said Kokushibo. "You... You're giving up?" asked Goku. "I am. You stopped my regeneration, and I don't want to fight anymore, too. Even if I regenerate, you would behead me again."
"Victory is yours, Goku," said the Upper Rank. "Honestly, I expected a way cooler win than just my opponent giving up, but this'll do," said Goku. "Very soon, you'll turn into ashes. I'm going with my friends to defeat Muzan. Thanks for this fight."
"Wait a second," said Kokushibo. "You said you wanted me to tell you about your father, didn't you?" he asked. "Yes, I did," said Goku. "Fine. I always keep my promises. You defeated me, so I'll tell you how your father, Yoriichi, was in the time I have left."
"Thank you, uncle Kokushibo," said Goku, calming down. "I decided to give up because I recognize your worth. When did you learn a Blood Demon Art?" asked Kokushibo. "Right during our fight. It was casual and sudden, but it happened. Now I have the mark, the Transparent World, the demon form, a Blood Demon Art... What else I'm missing?" he asked. "Nothing. You have everything your father had. Aside for the demon form and the Blood Demon Art, of course," said Kokushibo.
"They're... talking," muttered Shinobu. "Goku-kun did it... He defeated that monster this time..." said Muichiro. "Now I guess he's just telling him how the mighty Yoriichi was. Tsugikuni is understandably curious to know," said Gyomei.
(If I deactivate my triple power-up now, I'll bleed to death. I have to keep it while Kokushibo speaks...) thought Goku, tightening the grip on his swords. "Listen to me now, I don't have much time left," said Kokushibo. "Let me tell you my backstory."
