The lone tall man with a sword in his hands stood before the group. A single strand of wheat betwixt his teeth, and something heavy slung on his back. His long gray hair blowing in the wind as he flipped the long katana in his hand.
"I asked you three a question, have you come for the witch known as Angela?" Mifune asked.
"So what if we have? Are you planning to stop us?" Black★Star replied
"This day is turning out to be rather annoying..." said Mifune, as he unslings the large container full of swords from his back.
"If I have to kill a kid I'll get nightmares, so I'm warning you three leave now. I don't care if you want to take the souls of Capone and his men, but you will not harm Angela."
"Tsubaki..." Black★Star said and she knew immediately what he meant.
In a flash Tsubaki jumped into the air and began glowing as she turned into a metal kusarigama right in the hands of Black★Star.
Nate turned both of his hands into shinning golden blades and got into the best battle stance he could think of on the spot.
Black★Star scoffed and turned to Nate pointing at him with a gloved finger. "Don't even think of getting in my way new guy!"
Nate blinked at Black★Star and cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"Get in your way? Aren't we supposed to take down this guy together-"
But before he could finish protesting Mifune brought his container of swords forward and both Black★Star and Nate flinched back as he tossed the container of swords into the air and the swords began raining down across the battlefield.
"Infinite Sword Attack," was all Mifune said as the blades plunged into the stone around the arena and a yellow set of tape reading 'Keep Out' wrapped itself through all of the blades.
Nate narrowly manages to dodge a blade falling directly onto him by teleporting a few feet to the side on pure instinct alone.
"Are you fucking crazy-" But before Nate could finish his question Mifune launched at Black★Star. The shockwave of the clash pushed Nate a few feet back and nearly made him fall backwards.
Mifune's sword clashed into Black★Star's chain, the two of them locked in a contest of strength before Mifune disappeared from view and reappeared in the air. He grabbed a sword from a nearby pillar and dived down towards Black★Star who narrowly dodged the blow and back flipped away.
"This battlefield is no place for a child...leave now."
Black★Star stands at the ready with Tsubaki in hand.
"You think I don't see what you're doing here? Trying to make me look small in front of everyone? Well too bad for you I'm the bigger man Mifune...Throwing star mode Tsubaki!"
In an instant Tsubaki's form changes into that of a giant bladed throwing star. Black★Star instantly throws it towards Mifune. Mifune's eyes widen and his muscles tighten as he jumps into the air right before the star touches him and brings his sword down right into the middle hole of the star suspending it in place.
He stands crouched on the handle of the blade holding the star in place before Black★Star dashes in calling out to Tsubaki.
"Smoke bomb mode!"
The ninja star glows for a moment before a large amount of smoke erupts from where the star just was causing Mifune to look around in confusion.
"That really is some weapon you've got, if not for her you'd already be dead..."
Mifune's words cause Black★Star to shout out from behind him before attacking.
"You better watch that mouth of yours Mifune YAHOOOOO!!!"
In a flash Mifune turns and slices through the air catching Black★Star right in the stomach sending him flying backwards.
"Black★Star!" Tsubaki cries out before transforming back into her human form and catching Black★Star out of the air as he falls.
"Black★Star are you alright?" She looks to his stomach to see if he's wounded but surprisingly she sees no wound, not even a scratch.
Mifune momentarily lowers his blade as he says, "I'm starting to feel real bad for that weapons of yours. No matter how good the weapon it doesn't matter if the wielder is inept, and you are not fit to be an assassin."
"You're wrong about him!" Tsubaki yells.
"I know Black★Star isn't always the stealthiest or the most strategic but he tries harder than anyone else in the world and I know he's a great assassin!"
Mifune cracks his neck and for a moment relents, letting out a deep sigh.
"Just stay away from here you two, it's like I said if I have to kill a kid I'll get nightmares-"
Before Mifune could finish his warning out of nowhere Nate teleports behind him and goes for a slash to his back. In an instant Mifune whirls around and blocks the attack. The two of them clash for a few moments pressing into each others blade before Mifune spins in the air and delivers a kick right to Nate's face sending him flying back into the ground.
"And then there's you...going for an all out attack while my back was turned, have you no shame?" Mifune asked
"Shame? What the hell are you talking about? You're defending a witch and you're talking about shame?" asked Tsubaki
"You wouldn't understand girl, now take this two and leave this place" Said Mifune.
"Tch, dammit." Black★Star said as he stood up, hand to his stomach.
"Not only do I have an old man spouting nonsense, I've also got the new guy trying to upstage me. This would really piss me off if I weren't such a big man" said Black★Star.
Mifune's eyes darted between where Nate now laid on the ground nearly unconscious and Black★Star.
"Speaking of me, how dare you use the back of the blade on such a big guy like me Mifune?"
Mifune focused on Black★Star as the air on the battlefield became still. He noticed that for some odd reason he swore Black★Star's eyes had changed colors.
Mifune spat out the piece of wheat he'd had between his lips and flipped the sword he had in his hand.
"Fine, this time I wont be using the back of the blade..."
