Chapter 100 - 100

The chaotic fight on the S.H.I.E.L.D. command ship almost caused it to plummet from the sky.

However, although Loki's mind control was powerful, it wasn't actually that difficult to break.

During the struggle between Natasha and Hawkeye, Natasha landed a solid hit on Hawkeye's head, and he immediately sobered up.

With this example, things became much easier.

Everyone rushed towards the Hulk.

Thor swung the hammer in his hand.

"Hey, big guy!"

Hearing Thor's words, the Hulk turned to look at him.

The next second, with a bang, Thor's Hammer heavily struck the Hulk's head.

The Hulk felt the world spin.

Just as he was struggling to stand upright, Tony Stark flew over and landed a powerful punch on his head.

This time, the Hulk swayed and fell straight to the ground.

Everyone exchanged glances, finally breathing a sigh of relief.

Heaven knows how scared they were just now.

The Hulk, that big guy, was not easy to deal with.

Seeing the Hulk regain consciousness, under the wary eyes of everyone, the Hulk frowned. Just when everyone thought he was about to do something, he suddenly disappeared.

Bruce Banner rubbed his head and said helplessly,

"My head feels like it's going to explode."

Hearing this, Thor turned his head away, and Tony Stark's eyes also drifted.

The two of them had given his brain a heavy blow without holding back at all.

It was also fortunate that the space in the ship was relatively narrow, leaving the Hulk with no room to dodge, otherwise, it wouldn't have been easy to knock the Hulk out.

Fortunately, Bruce Banner didn't dwell on this matter; he had just sobered up and hadn't fully recovered yet.

After the disturbance, everyone gathered on the bridge.

"Loki has escaped, we need to find him."

Nick Fury said, rubbing his head.

"The only thing we can be sure of is that Loki wants to do something with the cosmic cube."

Hearing Nick Fury's words, Tony Stark suddenly spoke,

"Activating the cube requires a powerful energy source, and in all of New York, there's only one place with the most powerful energy source!"

Seeing everyone look over, he said directly,

"Stark Tower, that's the best choice!"

Bruce Banner also reacted.

"That's right, if he really wants to do something, he's very likely at Stark Tower right now. We need to fly the ship there."

"No time!"

Tony Stark's faceplate lowered.

"I'll go first!"

After saying that, he left without waiting for a response from the others; they needed to race against time.

Nick Fury looked at Nolan.

"Dr. Locke, do you have any good suggestions?"

Nolan shrugged and said,

"Tony has already said what I was going to say, but I don't have the rapid flight capability of the Mark Armor, so our best option now is to immediately turn the ship around."

Looking at the people around him, the entire Avengers team was assembled.

This was much better than their scattered state in the original story.

Moreover, he didn't plan to offer too many suggestions; his relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. was, at most, a cooperative one, so why get so deeply involved.

He had done what he needed to do, and now it was time to quietly wait for the final battle to begin.

In New York, Jessica Jones and Sharon Carter had already left the movie theater.

Regarding Nolan's early departure, Jessica Jones chose to return to her detective agency.

Sharon Carter returned to the company.

Ever since she learned that Director had sold her out, Sharon Carter had very consciously moved into the Hive Base.

Upon reaching the office, Sharon Carter saw Nolan standing by the window and was a little puzzled.

"Are you done saving the Earth?"

There was a hint of teasing in her voice.

"No, things are just beginning."

Nolan answered directly without turning around.

Hearing this, Sharon Carter's heart skipped a beat.

Nolan looked into the distance, lost in thought.

"War is about to begin..."

After saying that, Nolan called Jessica Jones, who was heading back to Hell's Kitchen.

Although Jessica Jones had some emotions, she still obediently listened to Nolan and rushed towards the Hive.

Nolan built the Hive in the suburbs of New York, not only because of the price compared to the city center, but most importantly, for the safety of the suburbs.

It is well known that the New York War almost destroyed the entire New York, and perhaps only the suburbs were the safest place.

He even notified all of his employees.

Nolan's principle was this simple: if he didn't know them, even if there was a flood, what did it have to do with him.

But these employees worked for him, which meant they were not so-called irrelevant people.

Of course, he couldn't use an absurd reason like an alien invasion.

As for those who were unwilling to come, Nolan couldn't do anything about it; he wasn't a savior.

The entire Hive was in a state of panic.

Although Nolan hadn't explained the situation clearly, when they brought their families to the Hive Base and saw how crowded it was, many people realized there was a problem.

Frank also brought his wife and children here.

Seeing the situation here, he comforted his wife and daughter for a few moments, then walked towards Nolan's office with a serious expression.

This was definitely not some kind of tourist activity.

After seeing Nolan, Frank directly asked the question on his mind.

"Boss, did something happen?"

Seeing Frank enter, Nolan didn't answer, but immediately said,

"Frank, I need you to do something right now.

Gather everyone, put on your armor, put the APU Battle Armor into cold start status, deploy them around the Hive, and prepare plenty of ammunition. We might be facing a tough battle ahead!"

Hearing this, Frank was completely stunned.

"What are our enemies?"

Seeing Frank's expression, Nolan suddenly smiled and said,

"You don't need to worry too much, it's just a madman from mythology who might cause some trouble."

That being said, Nolan was very sure that a battle would occur.

Moreover, even though this was the suburbs, it was impossible to completely avoid the Chitauri's affected area.

It was just that they had the power to fight back head-on, so there was no need to worry too much.

"Like Thor?"

Frank asked; he had only seen that one god from mythology.

Nolan laughed heartily and said,

"That's right, like Thor, because that madman is named Loki, Thor's brother."

Frank left the office.

Although he was still a bit confused, he began to relay the orders in an orderly manner.

Even though the Hive Base was crowded at the moment, the orders were accurately transmitted to every warrior's ear through wireless communication.

Frankly, I've been using the Wild Fruit Reading app to read and track updates recently, switching sources, with many reading voices available, on both Android and Apple.

Soon, large numbers of Locke Technology armed personnel rushed into the equipment storage.

Inside were various weapons, and the exosuit armor was neatly stacked.

Everyone put on the exosuit armor, only Frank put on his Black Armor.

The Black Armor was advanced combat equipment and certainly couldn't be easily mass-produced.

Otherwise, Nick Fury would probably go crazy.

After putting on the body surface exoskeleton, everyone picked up their weapons and then rushed to the area where the APU Battle Armor was located.

One by one, the tall APU mechs quickly stood up and moved with heavy steps towards the outer perimeter of the Hive Base.

When everyone was in position, Frank gave the final order.

"Battle readiness!"

Following his command.

The APU Battle Armor that surrounded the Hive Base in a circle stood up almost simultaneously.

Not only that, but after the defensive circle was formed, the dome of the Hive opened.

Countless intelligent weapons extended from within.

At this moment, the Hive Base was a true war fortress!

Nolan had invested countless resources into this Hive Base, and now was the time for it to reveal its ferocious face.

While Nolan was preparing for battle.

Tony Stark finally arrived at Stark Tower.

As soon as he got there, he saw Loki and that massive energy generator.

Tony Stark's face was grim; he had already cut off the energy source to Stark Tower, but the energy generator was still charging.

The next second, he fired a shot directly at the energy generator.

But this shot not only failed to blow up the energy generator, but he himself was sent tumbling several times by the powerful impact before stabilizing his posture.

Big trouble, Tony Stark's heart sank.

After considering for a moment, he made a bold decision: he descended directly from the air and took off his armor.

He needed time for his teammates to arrive.

And what he could gamble on now was Loki's pride as a god.

Just as he thought, Loki saw him take off his armor and didn't attack, just looking at him with some surprise.

"You are very bold."

"I'm Tony Stark."

Loki's mouth curved into a smile. At this moment, on the verge of becoming the king of Earth, he really wanted to share his feelings.

And Tony Stark was the only person next to him.

Tony Stark parried with him while putting on the control bracelet for his armor.

Loki spoke with great enthusiasm.

But he wasn't stupid and clearly knew what Tony Stark's purpose was.

"Do you know why I'm willing to talk so much with you?"

"I don't know, maybe because I'm handsome," Tony Stark said casually, trying to appease him.

Loki's mouth curved into a smile, and he walked up to Tony Stark, holding the mind scepter in his hand.

"Because you will be controlled by me!"

Then, he pointed it at Tony Stark's chest.

But...

Nothing happened.

Loki was stunned for a moment, then, not believing it, he pointed again, but the result was the same.

Seeing this scene, Loki became enraged.

A massive surge of magic instantly erupted, and Tony Stark was directly blasted out of the building by this magic.

It wasn't until he flew out that Loki chuckled and said,

"It doesn't matter, as long as you're dead, no one will know I failed."

Tony Stark was buying time, and so was he.

And now, he had finished preparing first.

The war could begin!

Falling rapidly, Tony Stark activated his backup armor and flew up again before hitting the ground.

But it was already too late. Loki stood on top of the building, and a massive energy surged towards the sky.

In an instant, the sky was torn apart, revealing a huge wormhole.

Inside, countless armies flickered faintly.
