The light subsequently faded, and Lyon, who slowly closed his eyes, fell from the air, seemingly into a deep sleep.
The entire room sank into silence, with only the labored breathing of the warriors echoing in the air.
The scene just witnessed was too shocking; even the Astartes found it difficult to calm their hearts.
"All personnel, withdraw!" Company Captain Auguste commanded. "No one is allowed to enter this area without my order!"
The warriors remained kneeling until the Company Captain repeated the order, then slowly rose and exited the room, their eyes still burning with fervor and yearning.
Auguste took one last look at Lyon lying on the ground before turning and leaving.
"We must notify Lord Calgar immediately!" Auguste quickened his pace toward the communications room.
Inside the room, Lyon waited until the footsteps had completely disappeared before opening his eyes. He felt a soreness all over his body, as if a Dreadnought had rolled over him.
In his daze, Lyon had dimly seen two enormous figures standing in the void: one pure white, the other dark gold.
Lyon knew that one of the figures was Ian and the other was the Emperor. But what surprised him was that the Emperor had actually appeared in person.
He checked his status and found that the Power of Faith on his body was completely exhausted.
Although new Power of Faith was slowly generating, the total amount was far from enough to support Ian's descent again.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: My God, what was that just now? Why did the Emperor appear?
[Super Block Man]: I'm not sure either. I just wanted to create a Phantom to help you escape. I didn't expect the real deal to show up in person.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: Do you two know each other?
[Super Block Man]: No, that's the first time I've met him. But he seemed to recognize me.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: What about the Energy Collector? It nearly triggered a Chaos incursion just now.
[Super Block Man]: It looks like the Warhammer World is more dangerous than I thought. The Energy Collector won't work where you are.
Ian contemplated for a moment and proposed two solutions: one was for him to create a weak Clone and travel to the Warhammer World through the Group Chat Portal to personally collect Interdimensional Energy; the second was for Lyon to carry the Energy Collector and personally kill Xenos to collect the energy.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: I choose the second one.
[Super Block Man]: Are you sure? That will be very dangerous.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: Dangerous? Ha! I've been fighting in this hellish universe for over a hundred years. I stopped caring about living a long time ago.
[AAA Terra Toilet Wholesale]: Now that I believe in My God, I don't have to worry about my Soul being corrupted by the Immaterium. Death is no longer a threat to me.
Ian could sense the self-mockery and determination in Lyon's words.
[Super Block Man]: Alright, I respect your choice.
[Super Block Man]: However, your current strength is still a bit strained against the Warhammer Universe. We need to reinforce you first.
[Super Block Man]: Lyon, come to my world for a trip. I can advance you some Power of Faith to help strengthen you first.
[Super Block Man]: Don't worry, it's much better than your crude Gene-Seed Augmentation.
Ian smiled and sent a Point Red Packet to Lyon for his travel.
[Super Block Man]: These Points will be deducted from your future salary.
Lyon accepted the Red Packet and chose to transmigrate. A flash of light followed, and his figure vanished from the Warhammer Universe.
In Minecraft, a blue Power Armor warrior, towering at 2.3 meters, appeared out of thin air. Lyon looked around, then knelt on one knee upon seeing Ian: "My God!"
Ian waved for him to get up: "Stop with the theatrics. Time is tight. For every second we delay, a lot of my future Believers (Leeks) on your side will die."
"Wait! I mean, innocent people."
Lyon couldn't help but laugh: "It's fine if you just say Leeks."
"You get me." Ian patted his shoulder. "Are you ready? Let's start now."
"Whenever you are ready, My God!"
Ian waved his hand, the space twisted, and then the two appeared in a science-fiction laboratory.
A large Operating Table was in the center, surrounded by dozens of Nutrient Vats filled with the bodies of various strange creatures.
Lyon looked at the Nutrient Vats: "These are..."
"Oh, those are just decorations, don't worry about them."
Then, Ian instantly shimmered, changing into a doctor's uniform, complete with a reflective mirror on his head and a massive Scalpel in his hand.
Lyon tried to ask something else, but found himself already lying on the Operating Table.
"Final confirmation, are you ready?" Ian's voice sounded.
"For My God, for the Imperium, for Mankind." Lyon took a deep breath. "Begin."
Ian nodded. "Today, you'll experience my original Anesthesia Technique."
Then Ian reached out, placed his hand on Lyon's head, and pulled. A phantom Lyon was extracted from the body.
Lyon felt a gentle force envelop him, and then his consciousness was softly pulled away from his body.
His Soul hovered in mid-air, watching his body lie on the Operating Table.
Afterward, Ian applied several Buffs to his Soul and had him watch the modifications from the side.
"This way, you won't feel any pain."
"Now, let's take a look at what the Warhammer World's Gene-Seed Augmentation is all about."
He lightly waved his hand, and Lyon's Power Armor automatically disassembled, revealing his strong physique beneath.
Next, Ian raised the large Scalpel and cut open Lyon's chest.
"The design concepts for these augmentations are good," Ian evaluated. "However, I have better ones."
(The following is the Warhammer Space Marine Augmentation Surgery)
The first surgery: implanting the Secondary Heart, which increases blood supply, providing more oxygen and nutrients to the muscles, and sustains life if the primary heart is damaged.
The second surgery: implanting the Ossmodula, a gland-like organ that promotes bone growth when combined with specific foods, making the bones thicker and harder, and fusing the sternum into a Bone Plate to protect the internal organs.
The third surgery: implanting the Biscopea, which enhances the body's combat and survival capabilities, promotes muscle growth, and regulates the hormones secreted by the Ossmodula.
The fourth surgery: implanting the Haemastamen, which alters the blood composition, allowing the blood to carry oxygen and nutrients more effectively, and also regulates the second and third implanted organs.
The fifth surgery: implanting the Larraman's Organ, which produces Larraman Cells that rapidly clot blood and form scars, preventing blood loss and infection.
The sixth surgery: implanting the Catalepsean Node, located at the back of the brain, which allows the Astartes to remain conscious and alert, even staying awake for over ten consecutive days.
The seventh surgery: implanting the Preomnor, which allows the Astartes to adapt to various harsh environments and food sources, breaking down and digesting nutrients unavailable in ordinary food.
The eighth surgery: implanting the Omophagea, a neural organ that allows the Astartes to acquire genetic memory and abilities by consuming their enemies.
The ninth surgery: implanting the Lyman's Ear, which enhances the Astartes' sense of hearing, allowing them to hear extremely faint sounds, and also provides enhanced balance and spatial awareness.
The tenth surgery: implanting the Sus-an Membrane, which secretes a special substance to protect the Astartes' body, allowing it to adapt to extreme environments like vacuum and extreme cold.
The eleventh surgery: implanting the Melanchromic Organ, which regulates the Astartes' skin, hair, and eye color, allowing for camouflage in different environments.
The twelfth surgery: implanting the Oolitic Kidney, which has powerful filtration and excretion functions, rapidly processing toxins and waste in the body to maintain physiological balance.
The thirteenth surgery: implanting the Neuroglottis, which enhances the Astartes' neural response speed and the brain's information processing ability, making reactions and decisions faster and more accurate.
The fourteenth surgery: implanting the Mucranoid, which produces an acidic venom that can be sprayed from the mouth to attack enemies or for self-defense.
The fifteenth surgery: implanting the Betcher's Gland, which allows the Astartes to absorb and process nutrients from any organic material, including the remains of their enemies.
The sixteenth surgery: implanting the Progenoid Glands, two organs that, when mature, contain the Gene-Seed corresponding to each implanted organ, used to cultivate new Astartes.
The seventeenth surgery: implanting the Black Carapace, the final special organ implanted, which interfaces with the Power Armor, providing the Astartes with additional protection, sensory input, and interaction capabilities with their equipment.
The eighteenth surgery: implanting the Sus-an Membrane, which secretes a special substance to protect the Astartes' body, allowing it to adapt to extreme environments like vacuum and extreme cold.
The nineteenth surgery: implanting the Lyman's Ear, which enhances the Astartes' sense of hearing, allowing them to hear extremely faint sounds, and also provides enhanced balance and spatial awareness.
