Chapter 264: Ashryn Defeated
Blood poured endlessly from Orimo's eyes, nose, and mouth.
"What… is happening…?" he gasped—
yet a faint, childlike laugh still escaped his lips.
Ashyrn's grin widened, dark and lethal.
"It's over, Devil Boy."
He hurled Orimo across the battlefield—THUD!—slamming him into the ground. Ashyrn calmly placed the crown back onto his own head and muttered,
"You're still getting up?"
Orimo's legs wobbled violently, yet he forced himself upright, laughing faintly.
"I can't… properly breathe…"
His gaze hardened.
"But I promised them… I have to defeat you."
Green flames burned fiercely along Orimo's back. His organs were shutting down. His body was partially dried, blood spilling endlessly from his eyes and nose—anyone witnessing him would be scarred for life.
Orimo lunged—THUD!
His punch smashed into a wall as Ashyrn barely evaded.
Ashyrn countered.
Orimo evaded again.
The air sharpened.
SWISH! SWISH!
Invisible slashes tore through the sky, carving into Ashyrn's flesh. Blood sprayed.
"Tch—!" Ashyrn snarled. "Darn it."
Suddenly, Orimo's shadows twisted violently—coiling, tightening—restraining Ashyrn in place.
High above, a gigantic shadow fist formed, blotting out the sky as it descended.
Still laughing faintly, Orimo roared,
"I'm ending it."
Ashyrn's eyes widened.
"Can't I… dodge this…?" he muttered.
THUD!!!
The colossal punch crashed down, annihilating Ashyrn's defense—crushing his arms, shattering his jaw, folding his back inward. Crimson-red energy erupted across the entire island as the impact detonated.
THUD.
Silence.
The shadow punch vanished.
Orimo collapsed instantly, gasping for air.
"I… can breathe now…"
Then—
A voice tore through the dust-filled silence.
"You...…"
Ashyrn snarled.
