The laughter crawled across the island.

Black energy surged over his arms, coating them like forged steel. The ground beneath his feet cracked as he lunged forward—

His fist collided with Diamante's.
The impact detonated outward, black energy spiraling violently across the island. Trees bent, shadows screamed, and the earth groaned beneath them.
Orimo slid back a step, teeth clenched.
"I will end you tonight."
The shadows twisted.
They screamed.
Spears formed from pure darkness, erupting from every direction—

They pierced through Diamante's body.
His smile vanished.

A crushing blow descended from above.
Diamante's fist slammed into Orimo's arm, shockwaves ripping through the ground as Orimo was driven downward.
"You will never win," Diamante's voice hissed, echoing from nowhere and everywhere at once.

The crimson moon loomed overhead.
