"Miss Amamiya, your luck is really bad," Inspector Megure said with a complicated expression. For three days in a row, Amamiya Yuki participated in the cases.
"I didn't mean to, Inspector Megure," Amamiya Yuki responded with a wry smile.
If it was not because this was on the street, she would have long defused the bomb herself and then let her subordinate send the man to the prison without having to do it herself like this.
*sigh*
"Based on the bomb remote control, there should be another bomb again somewhere," A female voice said as she crouched down beside the suspect.
"Matsumi Ako! Didn't I tell you that you're not allowed to get close if you don't wear your bomb disposal suit?" Matsuda Jinpei yelled at the female police officer.
"Tsk, you're noisy Jinpei. I'm not close to the bomb but only to the suspect." Matsumi Ako gave a sneer at Matsuda Jinpei and then leaned against the car.
Amamiya Yuki took a glance at Matsumi Ako and then looked at the sky.
Ah…
What a good day today.
Why did she have to meet with her former subordinate here?
Matsumi Ako, 29 years old, is a former SAT member who was transferred over to the bomb disposal squad after she had finished her time in SAT. She was in the same year as Matsuda Jinpei and the others, but their relationship before was nothing more than brief acquaintance.
But after the transfer… Amamiya Yuki saw the two people bickering and felt that it would definitely be lively in the future.
Matsumi Ako was part of the technical support section back then and her best skill was in bomb disposal. At the same time, she was one of the rare noisy female members of the SAT who often contradicted his superior.
The good thing is that she's not from the first team.
The bad thing is that the first and second team often cooperated, so her commander had once punished Matsumi Ako to write 50,000 words of self reflection after she nearly got herself blown up in a mission.
Amamiya Yuki… no, Aikawa Saki was also on that mission and she was the one who covered Matsumi Ako for escape.
They never actually met directly.
But ah…
Her height was somewhat eye catching…
Amamiya Yuki: "..."
She hoped that this Matsumi Ako would not remember such a thing.
"Come on, you two, stop fighting." Hagiwara Kenji had to stop these two people from fighting. Ever since Matsumi Ako was transferred over, she seemed to be unable to get along with Matsuda Jinpei in the slightest bit.
"Tsk. I don't understand where this annoying woman was transferred from." Matsuda Jinpei sneered. "Acting so high and mighty all the time."
"I think you're the one who's acting so arrogantly." Matsumi Ako sneered back. "Don't think that just because you're famous in the bomb disposal squad means that you're the best. My hand speed is definitely faster than yours."
"Want to compete?"
"Come on!"
"You two, stop it! Defuse the bomb first!" the inspector yelled at the two people who childishly competed with each other like children.
Amamiya Yuki sighed and then saw Hanada Hitomi in the distance, staring at Matsumi Ako blankly.
'It couldn't be that they know each other, right?'
While she was confused, she glanced at the barrage that was laughing at the interaction between Matsuda Jinpei and Matsumi Ako. It was obvious that these two people had provided them with entertainment before they were being called to defuse bombs here.
What Amamiya Yuki didn't know was that Hanada Hitomi was actually thinking whether this Matsumi Ako was the new player.
Because she just suddenly appeared.
She's the former classmate of Matsuda Jinpei and Hagiwara Kenji, but she was basically missing for nearly 7 years before joining their department.
Why?
Matsumi Ako didn't explain.
She just said that she's now in this squad and even though some men were interested, she basically nearly offended the rest.
This included Matsuda Jinpei.
So the bomb disposal squad has been very lively recently.
If Amamiya Yuki knew what Hanada Hitomi was thinking, she would say that it's impossible. Unfortunately, she didn't know.
…
Anyway, Amamiya Yuki escaped after giving a statement and lived a relatively ordinary life for the next few days. Outside from her work that she did inside her room, she looked no different from an office worker. There was no emergency mission and only some intelligence related missions from the organization. She sorted them all and sent it to her commander.
Some of those were not convenient for her to touch herself and Aikawa Saki refused to be a full time model worker.
Even a police officer has holidays!
She went to Poirot Cafe for her breakfast over the next few days, trying out various menus that existed there starting from pasta, coffee, the sandwich, and so on.
In short, her breakfast was always different.
Amuro Toru looked amused at her curiosity of trying food but didn't dissuade her from coming. Amamiya Yuki sometimes wondered if he could really finish his work when he spent so much time in the cafe.
This lasted for a few days until she saw Mouri Ran and Sonoko eating together in the cafe.
"Yuki San, you're here again." Mouri Ran waved her hand happily. "This is Suzuki Sonoko, my best friend. And Sonoko, this is Amamiya Yuki."
Suzuki Sonoko had heard about Amamiya Yuki from Mouri Ran before.
In Mouri Ran's words, Amamiya Yuki is a gentle older sister who saved a cat and that was how they got to know each other. But they rarely have contact because Amamiya Yuki was busy with her work. In an entire year, their chat might not even reach the number of fingers on a person's hands.
It was pitiful.
It was only recently that they started to contact each other more.
But when Suzuki Sonoko saw the beautiful Amamiya Yuki, she was pleasantly surprised.
