"Damn Gojo!"
Karl shouted loudly, attracting the attention of passersby.
Seeing the strange looks everyone was giving him, Karl blinked, then hurriedly ran away from the area.
"What a weird kid…" someone muttered as he disappeared around the corner.
After finding a more secluded spot, Karl looked around carefully to make sure no one was nearby. Then he took a deep breath and focused his mind.
An incredible change began to occur.
His brown hair turned white, and his eyes shifted to a brilliant blue — transforming into Six Eyes.
"Who's Bone King? Can he take a Hollow Purple? — No wait… maybe he can…"
Trying to calm his racing heart, Karl skimmed through the inherited memories of Gojo.
'Red? Blue? Purple? Even Limitless…'
Along with the Six Eyes, he had received all of Gojo's memories and his cursed techniques.
It was amazing.
Unfortunately, he didn't inherit all of Gojo's cursed energy reserves. His energy was only comparable to that of a third-grade sorcerer.
But with Six Eyes' unmatched efficiency in cursed energy manipulation, it wasn't all bad.
Still, the surprises didn't end there.
Karl's gaze focused on the panel floating before his eyes.

----
It looked just like a character template from a game.
Karl studied it carefully, trying to understand what each section meant.
The first part was fairly standard — basic HP and MP stats, along with physical and magical attributes.
Then his eyes fell on the percentage values beside each stat.
If he remembered correctly, the overall value of the Bone King was "683.6%+?%." The "?" represented the fact that Ainz Ooal Gown's magic power had exceeded the known limits.
The books mentioned that the average magic stat of a level 100 player was 1,300 points, while Bone King's magic power was 1.5 times that amount.
A normal player started with 13 points in all attributes.
Karl paused, glancing at his own stats.
'Trash!'
If all attributes increased by 13 points per level, then by level 100, each stat would reach exactly 1,300 points.
However, it wasn't that simple. Each profession raised different attributes — for example, warriors gained HP, physical attack, and agility, while spellcasters gained MP, magic attack, and magic defense.
Each class provided unique stat distributions.
His eyes then moved to the Natural Ability section.
Six Eyes.
Karl studied it with interest. It seemed Gojo's power had been officially recognized.
He recalled that natural abilities were special traits possessed by certain humans in this world — rare gifts that only a small percentage had.
For example, that alchemist kid who could use any equipment regardless of level restrictions.
It seemed Six Eyes had been registered as his Natural Ability.
Roughly one in two hundred people possessed a natural ability — a surprisingly large number — but few of them were actually useful, and even fewer were combat-related.
Then his gaze shifted to the empty Level and Job sections.
It reminded him of the YGGDRASIL player templates.
'If that's the case… does that mean I can gain classes and level up like a player?'
Karl's eyes gleamed with excitement.
He wanted to try it out.
But he didn't know how.
Just as he was thinking of possible methods—
A new message appeared before his eyes.
[Triggering "Medium" Job Acquisition Condition…]
[Conditions Satisfied: Possess Cursed Energy and Cursed Technique.]
[Triggered Medium Job: "Jujutsu Sorcerer."]
[Do you want to take the job?]
Karl froze.
'This day is full of surprises—'
Then another notification popped up.
[Error... Error... Triggering "Special" Job Acquisition Condition…]
[Condition Satisfied: Traverse Multiple Worlds.]
[Triggered Special Job: "Dimensional Traveler."]
[Do you want to take the job?]
It was indeed a day full of fcking* surprises.
The corners of Karl's mouth twitched.
He had just asked for one profession, and now he got two?
Was God actually listening to him?
A light bulb lit in his head.
'Maybe… God really is listening?'
Karl clasped his hands together and started praying.
'Make me immortal! Give me Saitama-level strength! And, um… maybe a big-breasted older—'
'No, no, the first two are enough!'
'Listen to me, God!'
He shouted mentally and waited eagerly.
Time passed.
Nothing happened.
Karl blinked, then touched his head.
His hair was still there.
He looked down at his body — it didn't seem like he had become immortal.
He looked around — no big-breasted woman had appeared either.
'Was it a dud?'
He sighed, but he wasn't too disappointed.
Turning back to the floating screen, Karl focused on the job selection prompt still awaiting his decision.
'I got "Jujutsu Sorcerer" because of Gojo's powers, but "Dimensional Traveler"? Is it because I came from another world? But why does it say multiple worlds? I only came to Overlord...'
Karl frowned, wondering if the system had made a typo.
'...or maybe?'
An unsettling thought crossed his mind.
'This isn't my first time traveling?'
Goosebumps ran down his arms.
'This wouldn't be some kind of multiverse madness, would it?'
The image of a certain superhero franchise from his past life flashed in his head.
Pushing the thought aside, Karl focused back on what was in front of him.
He recalled how YGGDRASIL professions were structured:
Low (up to Level 15)
Medium (up to Level 10)
High/Special (up to Level 5)
There were more than 2,000 professions in the game, making it one of the most diverse systems ever.
Unless by design, no two players ever had the exact same build.
Each level granted 3 skill points, meaning a level 100 player would have 300 total skills — though Ainz had bypassed this cap, mastering 718 through Dark Wisdom.
Low-level professions were the easiest to obtain — players could select them freely from a list.
In theory, one could reach level 100 instantly by taking 100 different level-1 low classes, but such a build would be extremely weak.
Medium-level professions required combining certain low-level classes or meeting specific conditions, while high and special classes demanded far more — and unique criteria.
As for Special Professions, they were legendary.
If a level-100 player possessed even one, they were considered a ranker.
Two special professions? None were known — maybe Touch Me had them, but that was only speculation.
In short, special classes required insane luck or preparation...
...or in Karl's case, divine stupidity and a prayer.
He also remembered that in YGGDRASIL, non-human races like dragons had racial professions (child, young, adult, elder, etc.) that consumed 50 levels in total — leaving only 50 levels for regular professions.
Humans lacked such racial traits, which was both a disadvantage and an advantage.
It was mildly surprising that "Jujutsu Sorcerer" was a medium-level profession and not a high one — but it made sense; most sorcerers were weak.
Gojo, however, was an exception.
Without further hesitation, Karl accepted both jobs.
"Yes!"

He couldn't help but curse the Jujutsu Sorcerer out loud.
"Trash!"
His status panel updated.

A comforting warmth spread through Karl's body, like a gentle flame. His malnourished frame filled out with muscle, his posture straightened, and his pale complexion regained color. The dark circles under his eyes vanished, replaced by vitality and strength.
His white hair and piercing blue eyes, glowing with Six Eyes' power, gave him an ethereal charm — even in ragged clothes, he looked noble, divine.
He willed the Six Eyes to retract, turning his hair brown again — and felt his charisma drop instantly.
When he reactivated them, his charisma rose once more.
Focusing on the ability description, a new section appeared.
Natural Abnormality Ability: Six Eyes
Absolute Clarity: Perceive all forms of magic and energy with perfect precision.
Efficiency Master: Reduces mana cost of all spells by 85%, allowing near-endless casting. Triples mana regeneration rate.
Powerful!
As Karl was testing his newfound powers, a rough voice called out to him.
"Hey kid… you're coming with me."
On his right stood a scruffy middle-aged man with a greasy grin.
Karl looked at him blankly.
"What? Didn't you hear me, brat?"
The man pulled out a rusted knife and waved it threateningly.
Karl stared at the small, unsharpened blade in silence.
"Hey, hey, come with uncle. I'll take you somewhere nice…"
As the man approached, Karl raised a finger, channeling cursed energy into a nearby wall.
CRACK!
The wall split with spiderweb fractures.
The man looked at the wall.
Karl looked at the wall.
The man looked at Karl.
Karl looked back at the man.
The man took a cautious step backward.
Karl pointed his finger at him.
The man immediately dropped to his knees.
"Wait! Wait! Please, Master Magician, I—"
"Bring out all your valuables," Karl interrupted calmly.
"W-what?"
The man froze.
Karl twitched his finger slightly.
Hieeeek!
Letting out a pitiful squeak, the man covered his face with both hands. After a moment of silence, he peeked between his fingers—
Only to find Karl smiling down at him.
"Now take out all of your valuables," Karl repeated, still pointing his finger.
"You're getting robbed."
