We see our MC stalking the cute blue slime, moving undetected while carefully staying outside of Veldora's Magic Sense range. He stops when the slime suddenly tumbles into a lake.

Slime POV
It's already been 90 days since I reincarnated, and I can't shake off the feeling that I'm being followed. Even when I asked Great Sage, she said she couldn't detect anyone. Still… this uneasiness hasn't left me.
And now, I've fallen into a lake.
'Seriously? Am I going to die a second death like this?'

'Hah… what a life saver. This slime body is more amazing than I thought.'
I realized I could last longer if I figured out a way to move. After thinking for a moment, I came up with a brilliant idea—I sucked in some of the lake water, filling about 10% of my stomach, then blasted it out backwards.
'Woah! I moved!'
But… I had taken in a little too much. My body shot forward and slammed against some kind of dome-like structure.

"Hmm… It seems my magicles have birthed two unique existences. One is a slime, and the other… has been hiding its presence. Interesting. Well, I'll just wait a little longer."
Present time
"Finally… I can feel the slime's presence close by. So, it fell into the lake, and now it's here, inside my domain. Heh, time to introduce myself."

'So, it begins. The story has finally started—following the light novel, not the anime. But now it's time to start bending canon.'
I decided to wait until Veldora gave the slime the ability to see. That would be my cue to appear.
"Very well, there is a skill known as Magic Sense."
Veldora looked around his cave suspiciously.
"Hmm? Is something wrong?"
"I think… there's someone else here."
'Ah, crap. I forgot I was still hiding my presence.'

MC: "Hello, dragon sir."
Veldora: "Another one? And it seems you are not human…"
Slime (thought): 'I knew it! Someone really was following me!'
Veldora: "You carry quite the presence. As expected of one born from my magicles."
MC: "Don't misunderstand. I don't acknowledge you as my parent or anything."
MC: "Before the slime asks—yes, I reincarnated."
Veldora: "Khah hah hah! Just as I thought, the two of you are indeed unique!"
Veldora: "Ah yes… it was 300 years ago…"
He then began explaining his sealing by the Hero. Rimuru (the slime) listened intently before trying to analyze the prison. Eventually, Rimuru suggested swallowing Veldora into his stomach, and the dragon's tsundere mode finally gave way.
Veldora: "Well then, before I enter your stomach, allow me to bestow both of you names. But first… suggest a shared name—a family name, as humans call it."
Rimuru: "Since you are the Storm Dragon… how about Tempest?"
Veldora: "Tempest, you say…"
Rimuru: "You don't like it?"
Veldora: "No, I love it!"
MC: "Hmm, seems fine to me."
Veldora: "Then it's settled. I shall be Veldora Tempest, and you—Rimuru Tempest. As for you…"
MC: "Wait. Let me choose the name I want."
I crouched down and wrote the name Akashi on the ground.
Veldora: "Very well. From this day forth, you shall be Akashi Tempest!"
I felt a surge of magicles flood into me. I greedily absorbed as much as I could, until drowsiness overcame me.
MC: "Thanks… I'm evolving. Before I fall asleep, I want more magicles, Voice of the World…"
Veldora: "W-what?! You just took about 8% of my magicles!"
Rimuru: "What's happening to him?"
MC: "I'll be asleep for a few hours. Thanks again, Veldora… see you soon."
My consciousness began to fade.
