Chapter 81 - Act.10 - Part 7

[Reader's Viewpoint – Extra in Highschool of the Dead]

While Nach and Miku were having a quickie at the rear parking lot of the shopping mall:

"ARGHH!—My fingers!"

A man who looked like nothing more than a disposable mob shouted in pain and agony, crying in despair as he knelt on the floor, grabbing the severed fingers of his right hand and trying to reattach them.

His regret at challenging the girl wielding a katana to a duel with his own katana was the same as his severed fingers—he would never be able to take them back again.

"Your skill was just as bad as the state of your blade," Saeko said as she sheathed her katana and picked up the mob's weapon.

"You're unable to tell the difference in our skill, just like how you're unable to recognize the damage you caused to your katana."

She looked at its chipped edge and cracked blade, feeling dejected at the thought that another high-quality katana had been ruined in the hands of a fool who knew nothing about swordsmanship.

"My fingers! Someone help me reattach my—"

The mob's desperate plea was silenced as Saeko swung the half-broken katana, beheading him in front of the survivors and her fellow students, who were now having second thoughts about fighting her.

They were not only attempting to save Shido, but also planning to take a few hostages. The men were even planning to have their way with Saeko and Yui once they captured them.

Saeko, on the other hand, didn't need to comprehend their lecherous ogling and malicious intent to decide who she would cut down with her blade.

Everyone behind her were those Nach had trusted her to protect.

Everyone in front of her were those he had given her permission to kill.

—Bang!—

It was the same for Yui, who didn't hesitate to pull the trigger of her handgun and shoot the mob with the most disgusting leer—one that reminded her of her boss and coworker who once tried to assault her.

"ARGHH!"

The disgusting mob ended up screaming and squirming on the floor, clutching his bleeding stomach, his blood soaking his pants, which were already drenched with his own piss.

"You're pretty ruthless as well, Ms. Reporter," Hiro said, staring in disbelief at how Saeko and Yui could respond with violence so easily—even killing someone without changing expression. Though even he himself was being violent, pressing a knife to Shido's neck while holding him hostage.

"We've been through worse. A hundred foolish men wouldn't be enough to scare us anymore," Yui replied, grinning as she couldn't believe the words coming out of her own lips.

"You don't have to waste your bullets, Hashimoto-san. I can handle all of them on my own," Saeko said, glancing over her shoulder at Yui and Hiro with her usual sweet and gentle smile.

"Behind you, Miss!" Hiro shouted, warning Saeko of the mobs rushing at her the instant she looked away.

Yui, meanwhile, merely sighed in relief, realizing that Saeko was deliberately baiting them to attack.

Saeko calmly sidestepped to her right, dodging the swing of the first mob's metal baseball bat, then made a sharp upward slash with the half-broken katana, severing the mob's right hand.

A swift returning horizontal slash followed, cutting through both eyes of the second mob wielding a knife, robbing him of his vision—but not his pain and agony.

She then recovered her stance, gripping her katana with both hands, and unleashed a powerful strike, clashing blades with the third mob wielding another katana.

—Crack!—

Saeko's half-broken katana finally shattered—but not before slicing the mob's katana and his head in half.

"Now's our chance! Whoever beats her gets first turn with her!" the mob leader shouted, urging six others to rush at Saeko.

Saeko once again steadied her stance, ready to draw her katana the instant the mobs stepped into her range.

The first strike slashed between the jaw, severing the tongue and leaving the lower mouth hanging open.

The second slash severed a right arm at the elbow.

The third slash severed a left leg at the knee.

The fourth strike pierced the right shoulder before cutting through bone.

The fifth was a wide slash that cleaved through the chests of the remaining two mobs.

The mob leader received the sixth strike—a stab to the crotch that severed both his rod and balls.

—"ARGHH!!!"—

The agonizing screams of the mobs and the gruesome sight of the white floor stained with blood assaulted everyone's senses before they could even comprehend what Saeko had done.

No one could follow her movements—it all happened in the blink of an eye, a feat that even Saeko herself found surprising.

She didn't know how she could move at such incredible speed. Nonetheless, every strike landed exactly as she intended.

She didn't strike to kill instantly. Instead, she gravely injured them, leaving them screaming in agony as they slowly bled to death.

And she didn't do it to scare the survivors or her fellow students—she simply wanted to torment her opponents to their deaths.

"Who would like to go next and take your chance to have your way with me?" Saeko said with her usual sweet, gentle smile as she twisted her katana and pulled it from the mob leader's crotc—"ARGHH!"—leaving him screaming and squirming on the floor like the rest.

"If none of you wish to volunteer, then I'll come after you instead—"

"That's enough for now, Saeko!"

---

Nach's voice snapped Saeko out of her murderous, intoxicated state, returning her to her usual calm and composed self.

"Nach-sensei…" Saeko murmured, trying to restrain the pleasurable, lustful heat rising within her body as she saw him approaching.

"You did a good job protecting everyone," Nach said, patting her head.

Saeko responded by embracing him, indulging in the burning warmth of his body and the intense throbbing of his massive, hard erection pressing against her belly.

Of course, Nach was still aroused. There was no way a quickie with Miku was enough to satisfy his growing lust, and he had only been teasing Mitsushima earlier.

But if Mitsushima hadn't gotten mad, he might have actually ended up doing it with her somewhere in the shopping mall.

Setting aside his lustful desire for the moment, Nach needed to deal with the survivors and students attempting to rescue Shido and take the helicopter key for themselves—at least, that was how Nach understood the commotion while watching through the holographic screen of Reader's Viewpoint flashing at the corner of his vision.

He had thought that taking Shido hostage would make his disciples back down, but it only made them more aggressive.

While Nach was lost in thought, still holding Saeko in his embrace, Mitsushima urged everyone in their group to head inside the restaurant with everyone else.

Miku, meanwhile, was having fun poking the injured mobs with her sledgehammer.

"If they won't stop until they get what they want, then let's give it to them," Nach said, making everyone curious about what he meant.

He left Saeko with Miku on guard and approached Hiro, taking Shido from him.

"Please give me a bottle of water, Yui."

"What exactly are you planning to do, Nach?" Yui asked as she handed him the last bottle from the backpack she was carrying.

"You'll see," Nach replied before turning to the survivors and students.

"You want Shido and this key?!"

Nach raised the key and shouted to get their attention, then proceeded with his plan.

With Shido bound by rope and lying on the floor, Nach disgustedly pulled the sock from Shido's mouth—only to shove the key inside and force his jaws shut as he shoved the bottle in and poured water into his mouth until he swallowed the key.

"There you go—Shido and the key!"

"COUGH!!!"

Shido kept coughing in pain as Nach tossed him across the floor toward his disciples, who were now considering cutting him open to retrieve the helicopter key from his stomach.

—Bang!—

The shot Mitsushima fired ended the spectacle and scared off the remaining survivors and students, who fled while carrying Shido, abandoning those who had fallen to Saeko.

"Are you sure it's okay to give them the helicopter key?" Yui asked, worried that Shido might throw it up and escape with their helicopter.

"You mean Tominaga's luxury car key?" Nach said, grinning as he tried to hold back his laughter.

"Pfft—hahaha…"

As Yui laughed at Nach's shrewdness, Miku clung to her, asking what was so funny, while Nach grabbed Saeko's hand, stopping her from entering the restaurant.

"Can we talk for a bit, Saeko?"

"Am I in trouble, Nach-sensei?"

"Well… we both are."
