In the bustling Suotuo City, Su Yan couldn't help but let out a short laugh. He looked at the messages in his mind and felt a sense of amusement.
"Su Yan: I really like members like you who are honest and tell the truth!"
Ning Rongrong watched him with curiosity. She leaned in a bit closer and asked, "Brother Su Yan, is there something happening between this Mengmengmeng person and Wang Dong?"
Xiao Wu giggled before he could answer. "There has to be something. Didn't you notice how Su Yan went out of his way to ask her about it?"
Su Yan just smiled and shook his head. "We can talk about all of this later while we're relaxing. Let's finish eating first, and then we'll head back to the hotel to get some rest."
The small group finished their meal and began walking toward the Rose Hotel. This specific hotel was actually owned by the Ning family, so they were treated very well. As they walked, more messages appeared in the group chat.
"Ma Xiaotao: Su Yan, I've finished arranging everything just like you asked. Things are fine with Wang Dong on this end. As for Huo Yuhao, I'm going to look through the new students over the next two days. I'll make sure to find him a roommate who has plenty of masculinity."
"Ma Xiaotao: But let's be clear about one thing. If any accidents happen later on, you can't just come to our Shrek Academy and start killing people for no reason!"
Ma Xiaotao was actually feeling quite nervous. She had followed the plan, but she was terrified that the person known as God King Tang might step in and ruin everything. She didn't want Su Yan's anger directed at the academy.

Tang San had planned everything perfectly. He had sent his own daughter down to the Lower Realm ahead of time. He even sealed her memories and made sure she would enter Shrek Academy disguised as a boy. This was all so she could get close to the child of destiny, Huo Yuhao.
However, these two girls had somehow separated Wang Dong and Huo Yuhao. This was a massive problem for his plan. If they weren't roommates, it would be almost impossible for them to build a deep relationship. Without that bond, he couldn't control or "train" the boy.
"This is completely illogical," Tang San thought to himself. "If this keeps up, I'm going to look like a fool. How can I control the child of destiny now? I even used my own daughter as bait. Those two girls are really asking for trouble."
But as he calmed down, he realized something felt off. It seemed like Ma Xiaotao and Tang Ya were being very deliberate. He could understand them helping Huo Yuhao since he was now Tang Ya's disciple. But why would they go out of their way to change the room for a total stranger like Wang Dong?
He wondered if the God of Destruction was behind this. But how could Destruction know his secret plans? It didn't make any sense.
Meanwhile, back at the academy, Tang Ya, Ma Xiaotao, and Beibei had finished their business and gone back to their own rooms. When Tang Ya finally got inside her dormitory, she leaned against the door and let out a long sigh. The last two days had been like a dream, and dealing with the thoughts of God King Tang was exhausting.
"Xiao Ya, you're finally back?"
A girl stood up to greet her. She was tall and had a perfect figure. Her skin was as white as snow, and her face was so beautiful it seemed to glow like the moon. She had a gentle way of speaking and a very graceful manner. This was Jiang Nannan, Tang Ya's roommate and the most beautiful girl in the outer courtyard.
Tang Ya looked at her and blinked in surprise. "Nannan, why do you look so pretty today? Did you get some new clothes or something? Don't tell me you finally got a boyfriend?"
Jiang Nannan looked down and blushed a little. "No, it's nothing like that. It's just... the person I've been waiting for is finally about to show up."
Tang Ya rolled her eyes playfully. "You're always being so mysterious. I don't even know who you're waiting for every single day. By the way, why didn't you go home to see your mother today?"
Jiang Nannan shook her head. "I need to stay at the academy for the next few days. You'll understand why soon enough, Xiao Ya."
"It's like you're possessed," Tang Ya joked. "You wait for this person, but you won't tell me their name, what they look like, or anything about them. It's so strange."
Then, Tang Ya got excited. "Oh, wait! Nannan, I have to tell you. I found a super strong disciple while I was out. And I also met this amazing expert who knows everything about the history of our world for the last ten thousand years. If you tell me who you're waiting for, I could ask him for help!"
"Really?" Jiang Nannan looked happy for a second, but then her face turned serious. "No, I can't say anything until he actually appears. If I talk about it now, something bad might change. Why don't you tell me more about your trip instead?"
Tang Ya sighed. "So many guys are chasing you, but you turn them all down to wait for someone who might not even exist. Anyway, my trip was great, but... for some reason, I can't really talk about the details. I just can't!"
In a different time, back at Shrek Academy during the era of the first Seven Devils, Zhao Wuji had returned. After bringing Tang San and Oscar back safely, he went straight to find Flender.
He knocked loudly on the door.
"Come in," Flender called out.
Zhao Wuji pushed the door open and walked into the office. He immediately started complaining. "Flender, you really messed me up this time. That trip was a disaster."
Flender stood up from his desk, looking curious. "What happened, Zhao Wuji? Did you run into some kind of trouble out there?"
Another man was in the room as well. It was Yu Xiaogang. He looked very nervous and jumped in to ask, "Is Little San okay? Did something happen to him?"
Zhao Wuji stopped and looked at the stranger with a confused expression.
Flender quickly stepped in to introduce them. "This is my good brother. He is the famous expert in the world of Spirit Masters, Yu Xiaogang. And Xiaogang, this is my colleague, Zhao Wuji. He's a teacher here at our academy."
Yu Xiaogang nodded his head calmly, trying to look professional.
Zhao Wuji's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, is this the Yu Xiaogang who said that there are no waste Spirits, only waste Spirit Masters? Are you really that man?"
He stepped forward with a grin. "I've heard so much about you! It's an honor to meet such a famous person!"
Yu Xiaogang's face twitched. He felt a bit insulted by the way it was said, even if Zhao Wuji seemed impressed. He couldn't help but think to himself, "Damn it!"
