Inside the carriage, the atmosphere felt somewhat strange and heavy. Huo Yuhao looked at Tang Ya with a confused expression. He could not understand why her face kept changing colors. Finally, he gathered his courage and asked if his teacher was okay.

Tang Ya was about to speak, but she stopped herself. She remembered the shocking content she had just read in the mysterious group chat. Among the dozen or so people in that chat, only Little Wild Goose, Sister Xiao Tao, and Tang Ya herself seemed to be truly shocked by the revelations.

Tang Ya tried to calm her racing heart. She told herself that she was not actually shocked. If she did not say anything out loud, it was the same as not being surprised at all. She quickly flipped through the chat history once more.

Everything they discussed seemed to focus on the era of the first Douluo Continent. The events of her own time, which some called Douluo Continent 2, had only just been mentioned by Sister Xiao Tao. It seemed the story of her own young disciple, Huo Yuhao, had not even truly begun yet.

Then, she saw something that made her eyes widen. The chat claimed that Huo Yuhao would become the son-in-law of the Tang Sect ancestor, Tang San. Tang Ya could hardly believe her eyes. She thought to herself that this was impossible. Then she saw the mention of something called a Chastity Lock. She felt a surge of anger. This had to be slander. That person named Su Yan was definitely slandering the great Tang Sect Ancestor Tang San again.

With a quick thought, Tang Ya recalled the jade mirror back into her Sea of Consciousness. She had to admit that the mirror was incredible. Even the most advanced spirit tools of the Sun Moon Empire could not achieve such a feat. She looked at the two people with her and tried to act calm.

She told them that she was fine and that they should just go back to sleep. Once they were settled, she began to think about what name she should use in the chat. She started to type her own name, but then she crossed it out. She wanted something that showed her goal. She finally decided on a name she liked very much.

I Want to Revive the Tang Sect joined the group chat. Immediately, she sent a message demanding that Su Yan come out and explain himself. She accused him of lying about Tang San and said she would not believe a single word he uttered.

In the Spirit Hall, inside the Pope's Bedchamber, Bibi Dong was completely dumbfounded. She had spent the entire night working hard to upgrade the group chat. She had hoped to bring in someone useful, but instead, she got this person. Hu Liena was also confused. She asked her teacher if this newcomer was really from the Tang Sect that Su Yan mentioned. She pointed out that this person seemed to be an enemy of Spirit Hall. Hu Liena wondered if they could even ask about spirit tools now.

Bibi Dong felt a bit speechless. It seemed that while humans make plans, the heavens decide the outcome. All their hard work had only brought in a descendant of Tang San who wanted to revive the Tang Sect and fight with Su Yan. Hu Liena sighed, wondering if their chance to learn about future technology was gone.

Meanwhile, in the Star Dou Great Forest, inside a quiet cave, Ning Rongrong felt satisfied, but the Little Demoness was not ready to stop. She looked at Su Yan and told him she wanted to cultivate a true Spirit Fusion Skill with him. Su Yan hesitated for a moment. He warned her that cultivating a real Spirit Fusion Skill was extremely exhausting. He asked if she was sure she could handle the physical and mental strain.

Ning Rongrong replied very earnestly. She said that if Zhuqing could do it, then she definitely could too. Su Yan felt both amused and a little annoyed by her competitive spirit. He laughed and asked who told her that Zhuqing was successful.

He told her that Zhuqing actually struggled a lot and begged for mercy after only two sessions of cultivation. Ning Rongrong was stunned for a second, but then she became even more determined. She decided that if Zhuqing could not do it easily, then she would prove she was better.

She called out her mutated spirit, the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. Su Yan noticed that she was actually the one initiating the connection. He warned her again, saying his spirit was also a mutated spirit. He told her that if he were the one to start the fusion, she might not be able to bear the power. He told her to be the one to lead the process.

Su Yan prepared his second spirit, the Kunpeng. He called out the move Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg to steady his energy. Ning Rongrong realized he was ready and immediately prepared herself.

She focused on her Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda and used the move Pagoda Suppresses River Demon. Suddenly, she felt a sharp shock. She gasped as she realized she had underestimated how hard this would be. It was very difficult to achieve a perfect fusion on the first try.

She gritted her teeth and tried again, refusing to give up. Su Yan gently comforted her. He told her not to be impatient during her first time. He advised her to relax her mind and body so she could feel both of their spirits moving together. He told her that only by being calm could she succeed. Ning Rongrong focused harder, repeating the words of her skill. Finally, the spirits began to merge. As the Spirit Fusion Skill succeeded, both of them breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Back in the group chat, Bibi Dong tried to talk to the newcomer. She asked if the girl really wanted to revive the Tang Sect. She offered to help her if the girl would share information about her world and the spirit tools used there. Hu Liena watched this and doubted it would work. She reminded her teacher that the girl probably knew Spirit Hall and Tang San were enemies from the chat history.

Bibi Dong looked at her disciple and explained that they had to try. She said that whether the girl talked or not was up to her, but if they did not ask, they would lose the opportunity forever. Hu Liena nodded, understanding that even a small hope was worth chasing.

The newcomer finally replied. She was shocked to see Bibi Dong's name. She called her the Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall and an evil villain from ten thousand years ago. She even called her the wicked Rakshasa God and asked if Bibi Dong thought she was an idiot. Tang Ya told the group she would rather believe the scoundrel Su Yan than believe that Bibi Dong would ever help the Tang Sect.

Tang Ya was quite annoyed. She thought to herself that no normal person would ever trust someone like Bibi Dong. However, Bibi Dong did not give up. She pointed out that they were not in the same world and had no reason to fight.

She suggested they cooperate so they could both get what they wanted. Tang Ya just mocked her, saying she would rather die than work with a villain. She compared Bibi Dong to the leader of the Holy Spirit Cult.

Bibi Dong tried one last time, saying that there are no permanent enemies, only benefits. She thought a partnership could be perfect for both of them. Tang Ya simply told her to go wash up and go to sleep, completely ignoring the offer.

Inside the Pope's Bedchamber, Bibi Dong was shaking with anger. She called the girl an absolute idiot. She couldn't understand why the girl couldn't see the benefit of working together across different worlds. She told Hu Liena that someone that stupid would never be able to revive the Tang Sect even if she had all the help in the world. Hu Liena could only shake her head. All their effort for the night seemed wasted.

Bibi Dong sent one more message. She said that if they couldn't cooperate, they could at least chat about spirit tools since she was bored. This only made Tang Ya angrier. She replied that spirit tools were trash and that she hated them more than anything.

She insisted that the hidden weapons of the Tang Sect were much stronger. After sending a final shout into the chat, she went silent, leaving Bibi Dong and Hu Liena very confused.
