Sally's POV
When we finally return home after dinner with Juliette, exhaustion weighs heavy on my shoulders. I adore my sister deeply, but dealing with her relentless curiosity can be draining, particularly when she suspects there's a puzzle to unravel. Not that I can fault her for it. If our positions were switched, I would behave exactly the same way. She's only trying to protect Warren and me, but for her own well-being, I desperately wish she would abandon this investigation.
Nothing would make me happier than confiding everything to her. She ranks among the most precious people in my world, but revealing this truth could endanger her life and further erode the pack's already fragile trust in me. For now, keeping her in the dark remains the safest option.
