Specifically, why Mina and Momo (and potentially other characters) seem so... let's say "magnetically drawn" to our boy Ryuu....yes you saw the 'magnetically drawn' to him, hehe.

So now, lemme draw the full picture for you guys.
THUS IS WHAT RYUU QUIRK DO...OR DOES...MY GRAMMAR IS BAD...hol on...I was using capital letters.(You saw nothing here).
Back to what I was saying:
- Ryuu can amplify other people's quirks through touch...and through another way of 'touch' too.
So in turn it makes them stronger, and makes them more effective with their powers.
It's a pretty straightforward support ability.
Now...this, is what's ACTUALLY Happening
Ryuu's Amplification doesn't just boost the hero's powers...it also creates neurochemical enhancement to their bodies.
This is what happens...
1. It gives them (the heroes) physical enhancement...(the obvious part)
2. It increases their processing speed, both in clarity and confidence increase
3. Am a nursing student by the way...so if you don't understand this...pls consult Google for this...as for the things am saying in question? ....well this is it.
Ryuu's quirk also releases Neurochemicals, like Natural endorphins, dopamine, serotonin...which in turn, flood's their system.
4. There's also a temporary emotional link between him and the target...more like an empathetic link or something.
Now, Think of it like this:
It's like, getting amplified by Ryuu feels REALLY good.
It's Not just "yay I'm stronger" good, but "holy crap this is the best I've ever felt in my life" type-shii.

So here's why the opposite gender has a strong attraction to Ryuu.
Why This Creates Strong Attraction??...well that's more like the psychological part of the quirk...I ain't doing that.
IT'S NOT MIND CONTROL...It's Natural Brain Chemistry
Summary of what happens for ppl like me, who would skip all TS.
-A Person gets amplified by Ryuu
- Experiences incredible feelings of capability, confidence, and euphoria
- Brain associates those amazing feelings with Ryuu's presence.
- Natural psychological attraction develops into something 'else'...in Mina's case it happened too fast. (I didn't to want drag the plot, that's why I did that).
And there's also a Real-World Parallel effect in this novel.
Ever notice how people fall for their personal trainers, therapists, or teachers?...or even classmates...yes classmates!!!...LETS GOOOOO.
When someone consistently makes you feel capable and confident, attraction is a natural human response...very very natural.
With Ryuu's quirk, this effect is just... amplified(pun intended)...you guys don't get it.
And here's why Some People Are More Affected by his powers than others:
There's the High Compatibility Factors:
- Emotional openness...(Mina's natural enthusiasm)
- Intellectual curiosity... (Momo's desire to understand and optimize things) WE LOVE YOU MOMO...YES 'WE'!!!...I love her kinks too.
- Trust-building personality (people who value deep connections)
Or even Quirk synergy... (how well their quirk responds to amplification)
Lower Compatibility of his quirks to other heroes.
1. It doesn't work well with Emotionally closed-off individuals.
2. It doesn't work on people who prefer independence...so no lone wolf nonsense...it's all about TEAM WORK.(Might change it later tho)
- Those with quirks that don't amplify well...bla bla bla...this should be obvious though.
-Of course... individuals with trust issues
And males...it doesn't work strongly on male heroes too.

Mina:
- She's Naturally empathetic and emotionally open.
- Her Acid quirk has excellent amplification compatibility
- She Thrives on connection and shared experiences...if you don't know...am pretty sure the whole class 1A thrives off this.
- So the Brain chemistry + personality = perfect storm of attraction
Momo(my fav gal):
- She's intellectually fascinated by the quirk mechanics
- Her creation quirk benefits enormously from cognitive enhancement
- She values deep understanding and connection for
- The combination of mental stimulation + amplification effects = powerful draw
