It was the first day of resumption, the beginning of the third term, when the students of Victoria High School resumed back to school.
Forty-five minutes past seven (7:45) and the bell rank for assembly, and the student from Jss1 to SS3 class came out for assembly and line up according to their height.
Praise and worship was sang and the prayer was taken by the assembly prefect, after the prayers the national anthem and national pledge was well recited, then the announcement was given by the, then everyone match back to their various classes.
In the class of SS3 A was status students fifteen boys and fifteen girls, the settled down waiting for their English teacher Mrs Ojo while waiting for her some brought out their past questions, notes to study, while some red novels, some gisted about the past movies they watched while some gossip about their other SS3 classmate but still the class wasn't noisy.
A few minutes later, the principal of this school, Mr Michael, but some of the students call him Mr Mike. He is tall and huge, chocolate in complexion, kind-hearted and calm, good-looking, and handsome. He answered the class of SS3 A, and they are hosted up to greet him . Some of the students say they like is outfit so he said
"Thank you, thank you very much. You have a new student,
Emmanuel was tall and a little huge also chocolate in the complexion, putting on a white shirt with a tie of red with black stripes you was looking good and handsome in the school uniform also with a black shiny shoe with is afro haircut.
Everyone looked at him as he entered with the principal, and the principal said
"His name is Emmanuel."
The students all clapped in a sign of welcome.The principal put in beside a girl sitting alone named shade, in the front of the middle role, so then the principal said to him
"Feel free, we are one big family,"
The girl beside him, shade, she's average height, also chocolate in complexion, and one of them most beautiful girl in the class, she said to Emmanuel with a soft voice
"My name is Shade. Nice meeting you,"
As a stretch forth her hand to shake him, you shaked her back in response, and he said
"Nice meeting you, Shade."

Not quite long the English teacher Mrs Ojo entered, she is practically tall, chubby and fair in complexion, wearing a fancy white top and the red skirt with a black shoe. She noticed the newcomer, so she said with a tiny voice
"What's your name?"
"My name is Emmanuel."
He answered politely, and she said
"Nice knowing you, Emmanuel, you are gladly welcome."
Then, she turned to face the board to begin teaching.
The morning, I noticed someone in the class, a beautiful girl at that, different from other girls he saw, but he knew not her name. He said at her I should listen to what the teacher was explaining. After some while, you stopped staring at her, then also listened to the teachers explanation.
Time passes by as the bell ranks for recess. Everyone went out for a short break, some boys in Emmanuel's class came to ask him if he would like to play football, but he rejected their request, they all went out of the glass living Emmanuel and Treasure the most beautiful girl in a class, she's average height, chocolate in color, chubby, also intelligent I no time for boys.
Emmanuel just kept staring at her until when she noticed she said,
"Kindly please stop staring at me,"
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to ask if your name because I don't know your name"
"My name (chuckles), let me ask you a question, are you not a new comer ?. Today was your first time of coming to this school and you are looking for a girls name, what a shame" .
She stood up, walking out of the class, saying
"Can you lmagine, what arant nuncence".
Emmanuel was surprised,
" That's why I hate talking to girls for the first time."
However, it has been wrong for closing. Three boys in Emmanuel's class came to meet aim on his way home, one of the boys named Caleb, average height, dark in complexion, Christian by religion, yaxed Emmanuel
"What happened between you and treasure during recess ?" he taught about it for a short period of time and then replied, "Nothing much." a boy named Israel who was part of the three boy, he was very tall and taller than anyone in the school, everyone calls him 'agoro' (meaning tall boy with long legs). He said to Emmanuel
"Look, brother, a problem shared is half solved, so tell us what happened."
" Okay, this was what happened, I asked for a name, and she insulted me,"
The third person named James is also part of the three. He's average height, fair in complexion, and good-looking, he said
"She does not insult people like that maybe because this is your first time she might talk to you Ashley". Caleb said
"she will come back to apologise, I assure you."
Emmanuel said
" I heard what you all said, but can we change the topic", they all agreed to change the topic, they gisted till they all went their various ways".
