Chapter 101: High Priest Fei
"Then you should have announced your presence by knocking, Your Majesty, so I can prepare the room." The High Priest's voice boomed as it echoed in the room. It was filled with disappointment and mixed with prejudice towards the vampire king.
"I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree after all." The man mumbled under his breath.
Which made Eiravyn give him a hard stare and was about to respond to the man when Serena swiftly interjected. "We we're about to knock but we're in a hurry, please pardon this." Serena explained.
The tension in the room was getting high and she saw that the two men looked like they were frenemies, Serena wasn't sure of their relationship and don't want things to escalate any further. With the look of things it seemed like the high priest had a history with Eiravyn and she wasn't sure if it was good news or not.
