Serena has been working on a project that is very important to her which she called "Meal-Kits." this "Meal-Kits." Was created by her to help patients both kids and adults all over the world with sickness or disease discover new and fun way to make their life more enjoyable by eating good food.
She had been working on this particular project for the longest time as it was something that means the world to her, she had even work through the project with her department members before she eventually decided to submit the project but the managing director of her team refuse to approve the project calling it a total waste of time, in his exact words,
"We need something exciting that will help us market our goods not destroy it."
This has really frustrated her and that was actually the main reason she had gone to the bar that day, the man was extremely frustrating and was set on ruining her, she honestly believes the main reason he did not approve her proposal was because he was scared that she might get promoted before him.
Serena had her doubts that he did not read through her proposal before he rejected it blatantly, well only one way to figure that out, she said to herself, as she pushed out every thoughts of Mr.Won and focus on her proposal.
She brought out her computer and her printing machine, as she went straight to Microsoft PowerPoint, she created a new slideshow and began typing the exact same project she had previously submitted but this time in a new theme and new templates.
"I will figure you out." Serena thought as she went over her plan in her head.

The following morning she woke up in a positive mood as she glanced at her newly printed slideshow document, she quickly went to the bathroom and took her bathe, she dressed in her usual white t-shirt and black skirt before she tied her hair in a low ponytail, she did not apply any makeup, she never wore makeup, Serena turned to look at her reflection in her mirror.
"I'm good to go."
She went downstairs, greeted her grandparents before she went to her car and wound her way to her office, her office was not so far from her as within some minutes she got to the gate of the company, she went inside the 11 story- glass like building boldly written on the top was "M&T Food company."
She walked inside and was greeted by the security man, she greeted him back as she made her way to her office.
There were already about four people in the company as she had came pretty early. Serena waited for some time before she could set her plan in motion. Mid afternoon, she went to her assistant managing director.
"Mrs. Olivia, can I have a word with you briefly?"
"Is there a problem Miss Serena?" Mrs. Olivia asked her worriedly.
"Come with me to the top floor."
"Okay, I'll be there with you shortly you can head there first let me quickly organize this file."
"Thanks."
Serena waited for about five minutes before Mrs. Olivia eventually joined her.
"Is there a problem Miss Serena?" She asked again.
"Nothing really, I wanted to show you this file and I want you to assess it truthfully." Serena handed over the Meal-Kits file to her.
Mrs. Olivia assessed the file carefully as she read through each page from the beginning to the end,
"Wow! this is really a great proposal but why are you showing this to me, you should submit it to the managing director."
"That's the problem I already did but he rejected the proposal calling it a waste of time."
"Hmmm… maybe it really is not that good then."
"Oh come on, Mrs. Olivia do you really think that, this is a Meal-Kit to support cancer people and sick people all over the world. Do you really think it is a waste of time?"
"Miss Serena I get your point but there is nothing I can do."
Serena suddenly held her hands "what if I told you there is something you can do?" Serena said as she had known that Mrs. Olivia does not like to get involved in this kind of things but she was her only hope right now she thought, this better be successful.
"I want you to submit this proposal." Serena finally dropped the bomb.
"What?" Mrs.Serena exclaimed "Are you out of your mind, this is your proposal and beside it has already been turned down."
"Please hear me out before jumping into conclusions." Serena paused,
"My bet is that he did not really read through this proposal but just unwittingly turned it down,"
"So, I want you to resubmit this proposal like it was your idea, if he does not recognize this project and still rejects it, we will know for a facts that he did not really read through my proposal but he just hastily turned it down."
"I don't think it would work, he had already seen it there is no way he will not recognize it."
"I'm pretty sure it would work, as I have changed the color and template of the slideshow to a different setting and beside do you ever see him working? I personally think you should have been our managing director as you were already due for a promotion." Serena assured her as she looked over at Mrs. Olivia face she appear to be in deep thoughts.
Serena decided to give her a little push "if this work out fine which I know will, I will include your name on this project." That seems to have worked as she finally gave in "fine then."
