The rom was copltely dark, as expeted.
Still, she had at least hoped that the lamp by his bed would be on, beuse she coun't see very well in the dark, she was almost nigind. Because of that, before closing the door, she took a quick look around the room.
She saw Julian sleing in the bed. She reized he was asleep, so she was about to leave the room, but sething stopped her.
Since it was december, the nights were very cold, and when she noced that Julian wasn't covered with a blanket, she fwned, stped inside, and closed the door behind her.
After rching Juian with quick steps, she tried not to wake him as she started seahing for the blanket.
Only then did she realize it wasn't on the bed. She had just spotted it on the chair beside the bed and was about to ad that way when her body was suddenly pulled toward the mattress.
Julian dragged her onto the bed in one swift motion and
"Why are you here?" he asked.
