Like a ghostly image.
But anyone with common sense would know that this Crystal Ball hadn't been activated.
The other party appeared on the screen through a mirror.

The woman shook her wet golden hair and looked at the ghostly reflection on the screen with her aquamarine eyes, "Do you people from Mirror Country always enjoy peeping?"
