Immortals and Buddhas all relish incense offerings.
Why is that?
Because within the incense lies an incredible power, a power that originates from human thoughts.
The multitude reveres gods and worships Buddhas, offering incense that carries their thoughts: perhaps sincerity, perhaps wishes, perhaps reverence, perhaps fear... various thoughts are born, merging into the incense, becoming nourishment for the Immortals and Buddhas.
Hence, thought is one of the most incredible powers in this world.
If a person clings to a certain thought, such as becoming wealthy, gaining promotion, or achieving fame, and holds firm belief and naturally works hard, success often follows.
This is what is called "thought becomes reality."
However, some people, with unsteady will, who give up halfway, develop doubts about themselves, become confused about the outcomes, this is having an undecided mind, and naturally, their thoughts won't come to fruition.
