Then he gently removed Mikota's long legs from his body.

Stark's inventions and Yakujin's alchemy were both tempting to him.
The Ninja World also had technology, more suited for Tony Stark's inventing ability, but it was challenging to draw precisely the invention ability given the many options.
It seemed only mimicking Yakujin had a decent payoff. If he could draw the alchemy ability, it would be a bonanza since the Ninja World had some herbs, and in the hands of an Alchemy Grandmaster, potentially useful elixirs could be brewed.
Drawing combat abilities was at least a guarantee; a Dou Venerable's combat skills included some Earth Tier Combat Skills and Profound Tier Advanced Combat Skills.
"It's about mimicking Yakujin, but how to mimic accurately is the key..."
Initially, Yakujin took on a disciple, Shoen, to resurrect himself and then carefully taught, allowing the disciple to grow....
