Chapter 5 - A game of riddles

Marris spent the next 2 days in the house depressed that she couldn't leave to find out about how many of her team had actually survived, with the gruesome site she saw in the last game , she doubted if many could actually survive.

She took time to look around the house , and was baffled with it's striking resemblance to that of her home , if only my parents were around it would have made things easier for me .

the kitchen were stucked with groceries, clothes in the wardrobes ,water running at the showers and a full set of kitchen utensils that could be used for cooking.

She finally stepped out at the last day to take a look around this city, was was the copy of where she came from, she was happy to find her team , and had learned only four of them were left, Stella ,Dan ,A.j which surprised her considering his weak body constitution, and her making it a total number of four people.

They had recently went from 12 to four, and considering the high amount of games left, she wondered if they could actually survive it.

They sat down together in silence, silently mourning the loss of their comrades, what do you think the next game would be asked Stella as she sobbed softly right next to Dan, nobody actually knows, she replied.

What do you think they want from us, how did we come here said Dan's voice as one could tell he was so irritated and tired, this game is a death sentence marris said as she rubbed her shoulders together.

Maybe we should walk Around we might be able to get some clue , she said as the team of four stood up to walk round the city

They encountered other people, as they could hear them discussing about the person who was awarded with the veto power, and marris mind now came to it, the person couldn't possibly use it in their selves, so it would much of the luck of who the person with the veto power decides to save.

She was surprised with how people were enjoying their selves in the city, as it seemed their were bars and clubs provided, she walked in with her team into one of the bars , the see the large number of people blasting to music.

They were achohol provided by players who decided to take the roles of bartender and for a moment the atmosphere seemed eventful, like there wasn't any game coming up the next day .

Everybody seemed Merry and chilled, couples could be seen kissing each other, and she was once again wowed by the amount of calmness that surrounded the room .

Marris soon returned to the shell of her home, and slept off, waiting for the next game, placing the hope on her chances of survival, what mattered was surviving to be able to get out of this place alive.

A loud alarm woke up the entire city, dear players the next game would continue in the next 30 minutes, the title to the next game would be collection, when you collect the total number of keys meant for a player to move to the next game , and if you have more , you get to unlock your realm, these realm would contain maps, tasks that can allow you level up, and you would be able to get potions like, life resuscitating potion, poisons, ammunitions and so on, but this will only come if you are able to make it to the next game.

The total number of keys required to pass the third game, would be 8 keys, and 12 to unlock your realm, you can't have less to the number of keys needed else you would be eliminated, the rules are simple get the needed amount of keys within the next 2 hours to make it to the next game.

To find the key , you would have to find things that holds riddles, solve the riddle and get a key dear players the game starts now, and the system voice faded to have a beep sound go off, and I stood up to my feet, finding things that holds riddles and solving them, and the tittle of the game is collection, it seemed these might turn out to be a team work, but everyone needs to find their needed total number of keys.

If we move in group it might make things difficult for each player, marris looked around the house searching for things that holds riddles, she first came across a metal box , that read, what sleeps in the morning and always rises at night?, and I felt an incoming headache, it couldn't be stars, as the stars doesn't come out every night, nor the moon because it also doesn't come out every night.

Marris continued to stare at the metal box, which had a place to type the answer is and there were only to chances for each box.
