Chapter 117 - Chapter 103: Little Garden Adventures

"There's plenty of drink, indeed."

Shano was infected by the hearty laugh and couldn't help but chuckle. Turning back, he ordered, "Hey! Kuina, you and Uncle Zeff, head back to the ship and bring more strong liquor."

"Yes, Captain!"

Kuina immediately responded and, before leaving, she glanced at the giant from left to right and couldn't help but ask:

"Hey, uncle, are you really the legendary Giant Race from Elbaf?"

"Oh! That's amazing, little girl, you know a lot! It's been ages since anyone mentioned the name of my village!"

The giant was somewhat surprised, then burst into laughter.

"Yes, I'm Dorry from Elbaf, the Green Orge! People used to call me that. But you all... really gave me quite a shock! If I remember right, it was a year or two ago when someone last came to this island!"

......

At the center of Little Garden.

To the north and south here lie two gigantic white skeletons, covered in moss and seemingly dead for many years.

Beneath the southern skeleton, a campfire crackled.

Dorry sat cross-legged, his thick fingers skillfully processing the innards of the saber-toothed dragon, then skewering them on an iron spit as thick as a tree trunk, slow-roasting them over the fire.

Fat dripped, and the aroma rose with the wisps of smoke.

Shano and the others also sat around the campfire; after a round of friendly conversation with Dorry, they were already quite familiar with one another.

The giants from Elbaf generally don't have any hidden agendas, and Dorry is especially the hearty and open type, making interactions very pleasant.

"Wow, what great liquor! It's strong and fragrant!"

Dorry grabbed the barrel and chugged it down, savoring the taste. "And for some reason, it feels familiar... Ah, I've got it. It's a bit like the liquor we had on our ship before but more mellow, with a richer taste."

"Really?" Zeff was taken aback. "This is the liquor I brought from the East Sea, found on an exceptionally large ship. Could it be the one you folks used?"

Uncle Zeff, with a bushy beard and the face of a middle-aged man, called Dorry "Big Brother," but none present found it awkward.

In fact, Zeff seemed to be taking advantage a bit.

Because after some exchange just now, everyone knew that the Green Orge Dorry was the captain of the Giant Soldier Pirates, considered an arch-enemy by the World Government a hundred years ago.

His bounty reached a hundred million Belly.

That might not sound like much, but it was nearly a hundred years ago!

The value then and now wasn't on the same level.

Unlike his companions, Shano understood more clearly the weight of this hundred million Belly.

If he recalled correctly, in the timeline six years later, the Green and Red Orges would return to the seas, and the World Government would immediately boost their bounty to eighteen billion Belly!

Even surpassing most Vice Emperors.

"Ah, my ship?"

Dorry scratched his head in confusion. "It's probably just a coincidence. At the time, our crew sailed our ship straight back to Elbaf; they shouldn't have gone to the East Sea at all."

He was indifferent, and the others refrained from asking more.

Dorry refocused on seasoning the barbecue. The quality of the liquor brought by these hospitable humans was excellent, and he was determined to showcase his culinary skills, not letting them down!

Boom!!

But just then, the entire island shook violently, causing everyone except Dorry to stumble and almost fall.

"What's going on now?"

Nami stood up angrily, looking around. What on earth is going on with this island? Every now and then, there's a tremor. Can't anyone enjoy a proper meal here?
