Hikari laid out her remaining weapons on the ground in her chambers, allowing Ria to survey them.
"Thirty four handcannon balls. Eleven throwing daggers. Two short swords. Hundred and twenty sheets of wyvern skin armour. Mostly in good condition. Your ballista bow and the spare handcannon. Shame that the claymore is gone."
"Yes"
Heave! Ho! Heave! Ho! More than a dozen soldiers hauled a massive crate into her chambers. Then, two RazenHeir knights went around the crate, undoing the locking mechanisms. The soldiers grabbed the handles on the lid and pulled it off to the side.
"The claymore of Barius RazenHeir. Its Runium core is much more resistant to our flames than steel. Plus an outer layer of black steel, the best conductor we could find for our mana form. It's soft compared to steel though, but the layer can be replaced if you happen to break it."
Hikari picked up the sword. Unlike her steel swords, she could feel some weight from the dense Runium core. She ignited it, the heat in the black steel built up far faster than she would with steel.
"It's good. But are you sure I could use this?"
"Of course. These weapons are meant to be passed down. There is no doubt that you are more than worthy of wielding it. "
The soldiers cleared the room.
"Ah… I take it that the meeting with the Lord RazenHeir went well. I'm so excited that you will be accompanying me to the academy. I'm sure you'll shake up the power balance like a thunder storm. Oh, and my Lord has decided to purchase a set of king black salamander armour for you. Your recent achievements must have really made an impression on him."

Pressing the sword into the ground for support, Hikari lifted up her foot and dangled it over Ria.
Ria looked up and saw the huge thick white cotton sock soles big enough to cover her entire torso, already slightly damp and dusty.
"If I become the greatest knight on the continent. What about my lady?"
Ria moans, the wriggling motion of Hikari's sock toes above her was hypnotising.
"Wouldn't that make me just so superior to my lady. I wonder if my lady would still be worthy of worshipping the bottoms of my dirty socks?"

Hikari tilts her head back and laughs.
"Beg. Beg for my sock bottoms. You might be worthy of them now. But only if you beg."
"Please, Hikari. Can your lowly, inferior lady taste your sock bottoms before you become the greatest knight on the continent?"
"Is that how I trained you to beg? How are you going to prove yourself worthy of the sock bottoms of the future greatest knight on the continent?"
Ria bowed her head to the ground.
"Please Hikari. May I worship the sock bottoms of the future greatest knight on the continent?"
Ria lifted her head, begged her before bowing her head down again.
"Please. May this insignificant lady worship the dirt and sweat of the greatest knight on the continent?" Ria's forehead hit the ground.
"Hehe~, would you like to become the lady of the greatest knight on the continent?"
"Yes! I would be honored to earn the title of the lady of the greatest knight on the continent. I will wait patiently at the door every morning like a good and obedient lady and worship my great knight's hard work as she walks in from her morning run."
Ria's forehead hit the ground.
Hikari picked up the great sword with one hand and tested its balance.
"This is a nice sword."
