Chapter 526 - Chapter 204: Vivi's Night Raid

It should be said, Cassandra's words were an absolute killer for these two.

This phrase "the old couple" was unacceptable not only to Snape but also to Little Sirius.

Since they had known each other, the two of them had been in a state of mutual dislike, both wishing the other would drop dead.

Little Sirius felt disgusted by being associated with Snape, and Snape felt equally disgusted by being associated with Little Sirius.

The two of them almost unanimously decided in their hearts to stay as far away from each other as possible in the future, just to avoid any more earth-shattering remarks coming out of Miss Malfoy's mouth.

Fortunately, among those present, only Lupin would occasionally tease Little Sirius, but now was clearly not the right situation, so he said nothing.

If James were here, he would definitely follow up on Cassandra's words to cement them.

One, to disgust the Snot Spirit, and two, to have some fun with a good buddy.

There's nothing more delightful in the world than hitting two birds with one stone.

Dumbledore didn't rush to say anything, but instead, watched Little Sirius and Snape with a smile.

He wasn't falling over, just found the spectacle quite amusing.

Seeing they didn't speak for a while, Dumbledore cleared his throat and asked, "So, could anyone tell me what just happened? Miss Grindelwald mentioned in her letter that Truth Serum was needed and noted signs of Voldemort around here, but I don't know anything beyond that."

Everyone turned their eyes to Harry; the specifics still needed Harry, the person involved, to explain.

"... That's basically the situation," Harry said, adjusting his glasses and speaking to Dumbledore. "It's clear that Voldemort seems to have some way to link consciousness with me—how exactly this is done, I don't know either."

Dumbledore looked at Harry with interest and stroked his beard.

If Harry were still the third-year Harry from the original, Dumbledore would probably have to think hard about what's going on and what should be done.

But the problem is, this Harry now is that old senior from a hundred years ago, so Dumbledore doesn't feel quite as anxious...

"Perhaps you should practice the Mind Sealing Spell," Dumbledore suggested. "I believe if you can close your mind, it'll block Voldemort's mental invasion... Perhaps he hasn't realized what is happening yet, but once he does, he might start from this angle..."

"To kill me?" Harry asked.

"No, to control you," Dumbledore paused and said after a moment of thought, "I don't know how he achieves it, but it's just a guess."

Harry felt like he had realized something, but it suddenly slipped away from his mind.

At this moment, Snape slowly turned his head, glanced at Harry, then quickly turned back again.

Seeing Snape's expression, Little Sirius was about to utter a sarcastic remark—but remembering Cassandra's words, he showed an expression like he had swallowed a fly and lowered his head in silence.

Forget it, let the Snot Spirit off the hook.

"As for the House-Elf..." Dumbledore pondered before speaking, "I believe he might be under Tom's Soul-snatching Curse..."

"Tom?" Little Sirius asked curiously, "And who is Tom?"

Harry drew out his Magic Wand and used a Magic Spell to write sizzling letters in mid-air.

"Tom Marvolo Riddle."

He rearranged the letters to spell out "I am Lord Voldemort."

Little Sirius slowly widened his mouth; he could hardly believe that this Tom Riddle was actually Voldemort...

And most importantly, there's no one with the surname Riddle among Pure-blood Clans.

This left Little Sirius feeling like he had discovered a New Continent, stomping hard in astonishment.

"My god, Voldemort isn't a Pure-blood Wizard?!" Little Sirius shouted in shock.

"Of course not," Harry shrugged and recounted the story of Voldemort's parents' 'love' to Little Sirius.

In conclusion, he said, "I must say, that Melop Gant truly wasn't a good sort —"

"Indeed, such scum deserves to die a hundred times over!"

Little Sirius felt as if he had stepped into the shoes of the poor Mr. Riddle, goosebumps dancing wildly on his skin.

He looked at Snape again, and though he didn't speak, Snape could still read the sarcasm from Little Sirius's expression.

"The Voldemort you follow is such a bastard half-blood scum?"

But after all the things he wanted to say, Little Sirius ended up summarizing with one line:

"I think I should tell my mother about this, let her know what kind of creature the Black family once followed."

"Oh no, you're bad," Hermione fanned her nose and said, "But I also think she should be told, let her demythologize Voldemort."

"But Kreacher is very weak now," Lupin timely brought the wandering thoughts back, "If you want to ask questions, it's best to let him recover a bit first, maybe have some restorative... Considering his weakness, it wouldn't be good if Truth Serum caused any problems."

"Leave this to me and Dumbledore." Snape said slickly, "Don't worry, I won't harm your Black family's Little Elf—"

Having said that, Snape looked at Lupin.

The meaning was clear: you, lead the way!

Lupin smiled gently at everyone and said, "I'll take the two of them to see Kreacher first, you all stay here for a bit."
