Chapter 514 - Chapter 198: Arrogant Then Humble, Funny Upon Reflection

Great-grandfather?

Little Sirius looked at the portrait in surprise; he didn't know why his great-grandfather suddenly appeared in the painting.

Walburga was also quite surprised. Her grandfather... well, indeed, her grandfather, since in terms of seniority, she was the granddaughter of Phineas Black.

Yes, you heard right, Walburga was also a Black before she married Oleander Black.

By relationship, the two of them should be cousins.

I have to admit the chaos of pure-blood families; it could make for a whole drama like "Fate's Emptiness" in everyday life.

"Ah, isn't this my dear great-grandson!"

Phineas exaggeratedly spread his arms wide upon seeing Little Sirius.

His expression showed no signs of being fake; he truly liked Little Sirius.

"Oh, great-grandfather." Little Sirius said nonchalantly; he still didn't understand why his great-grandfather, who always considered him the disgrace of the Blacks, would suddenly have a change of heart.

Suddenly being called the pride of the Black family made Little Sirius feel a bit awkward.

He seemed a bit distracted because he felt a nagging sensation in his mind as if he had forgotten something important since stepping into the room, though he couldn't recall what it was at the moment.

What exactly did he forget?

Walburga just assumed her grandfather was being sarcastic and said indifferently, "If it were about making us angry, this beast indeed has some accomplishments."

"Don't speak about my dear great-grandson that way!" Phineas said seriously, "Little Sirius is the pride of our Black family! Whoever says he's the disgrace of the Blacks, I will be the first to disagree!"

Not only Little Sirius himself, but even Lupin raised his head to take another look at Phineas.

Goodness, does this guy actually have moments of personality change?

Harry also looked at Phineas in surprise, wondering what on earth could have made the old stubborn change his mind.

You should know, Phineas's temper is notoriously foul.

"I really don't understand, what's got into you!" Walburga looked at her grandfather incredulously, "Back then, it was with your consent that this delinquent Little Sirius was expelled from the family—you also believed he was the disgrace of the Blacks at the time. Why do you suddenly see him as your dear great-grandson now?"

Phineas gave Walburga a sidelong glance, as if to say—the likes of Phineas Black don't need to explain themselves ever in this lifetime.

But considering family harmony, Phineas cleared his throat and said to Walburga, "Walburga, I suggest you treat Little Sirius a bit better."

"What?!" Walburga exclaimed as if she'd heard something absurd, "No way! Absolutely not! I'd rather die, die outside, jump from here! I will never forgive this beast! Never recognize this beast as my son again!"

Ron and Hermione exchanged glances, feeling as if Mrs. Black had just set an impressive flag.

"I suggest you delay your words a bit." Phineas said mysteriously, "Come over, let me tell you something."

"Let them talk." Little Sirius shrugged and said, "We'll head into the room first and get your rooms arranged—don't think that boyfriends and girlfriends can share a room; I'm not a cool dad."

He looked rather nonchalant, but his eyes clearly darted between Harry and Cassandra as he spoke.

Cassandra shrugged, ignoring the suddenly theatrical Little Sirius.

"Is it related to this beast?" Walburga asked persistently in the painting.

Once they were gone, Phineas finally spoke mysteriously, "Do you know, who Little Sirius's godson is?"

"Who is it?" Walburga sneered, "Isn't it just that Potter boy's son? They say he defeated some Dark Demon King—ha, in my view, he simply relied on luck... perhaps he only accomplished it with others' help, didn't he?"

"No, do you really know who he is?" Phineas said softly, "You should know, Walburga, when I was the Headmaster at Hogwarts, I had a student named Harry Potter—"

"You mean?"

Walburga straightened up suddenly, "That one my father often talked about? The one he idolized, the Legendary Wizard who wiped out the Fire Ash Snake Faction and suppressed the fairy rebellion, Harry Potter?"

"Yes, that's him." Phineas said, "Actually, I only recently found out that this Harry Potter actually traveled through time from this period to a hundred years ago."

"You mean..."

Walburga, no fool herself, immediately grasped what Phineas was implying.

"You don't mean..." she covered her mouth.

Phineas nodded seriously, confirming her speculation.

"You really mean..." Walburga gasped, feeling short of breath.

That Legendary Wizard, Harry Potter? Had he just stood before her?

Oh my, oh my...

He was my father's idol...

His lifelong wish was to find Mr. Potter again...

It's said that even the Black Demon, that "You-Know-Who," stole his title from Mr. Potter...

"Yes, he's the Harry Potter." Phineas nodded with a smile.
