Chapter 274 - Chapter 139: How to Replenish Magic Power

"How is this possible?" Newt knocked on the table, "My goodness, I don't believe that Grindelwald would use his prophecy ability to find Miss Malfoy's location, I absolutely don't believe it..."

Of course, he wouldn't trust Gellert's integrity. In Newt's view, Grindelwald was definitely a staunch member of the Harvey Party.

No need to say more, a brother is always on his sister's side!

"We should hurry to Nimongard," Vivi said softly, "Cassandra's matter can't be delayed. Heaven knows what might happen to her if this drags on..."

"There's no need to rush, Vivi," Harry hesitated, "Is your body...are you sure you're okay? I mean...we all know your brother's character, you should be fully prepared before going to Nimongard."

"Ha!" Vivi's eyes suddenly flashed with anger, "Fully prepared? Would he dare lay a hand on his own sister? Does he think the Magic World would mourn for him?"

Upon hearing this, Newt and Theseus' faces simultaneously stiffened.

This phrase...this phrase was incredibly familiar.

Thinking back to Père Lachaise Cemetery, Newt was questioned by the jealous Mr. Grindelwald with such a line.

The original words were, "Mr. Scamander, do you think Dumbledore would mourn for you?"

Oh my, it's a very unpleasant memory, makes me spin Finite.

"I think you shouldn't be too confident, Miss Grindelwald," Newt tentatively suggested, "How about...we go with you? To prevent any accident from happening..."

"Thank you for your kind offer, Professor Scamander," Vivi replied softly, "However, this is a Grindelwald family matter, I don't believe my brother would dare lay a hand on me..."

Newt opened his mouth but didn't say more.

Vivi was right, it's their family matter, he, a Scamander, is indeed not suitable to be involved.

Besides, family scandals shouldn't be exposed; should the old man Grindelwald do something...ah, no, indeed...umm...

Newt recalled the relationship between Grindelwald and Dumbledore, which was closer than brothers, and shivers ran down his spine.

My goodness, he now not only wanted to say a pity for Grindelwald but even wanted to mourn for Dumbledore.

But Newt had no intention of informing Professor Dumbledore.

On one hand, it's trusting the strength of this century's strongest wizard.

On the other hand, Dumbledore holds the moral high ground.

"Is this really okay?" Harry quietly asked Vivi, "Shouldn't you replenish a bit more magic power..."

"Oh, I need to remind you of something..." Mr. Leme suddenly spoke, "Replenishing magic power also has drawbacks. Since you two aren't intimately connected enough, the effect lasts a while, but the strength of the magic isn't strong enough..."

Vivi took out her magic wand and cast a spell at the ceiling.

"Lumos!"

Harry glanced at the fluctuating light at the tip of the wand, scratching his head.

"Expelliarmus!"

The spell hit the light, and several candles twisted on the lamp crackled and fell off.

"I don't recommend you experiment any further, Vivi," Mr. Leme sighed, "My alchemy room already can't withstand your destruction..."

"About what I expected," Vivi said in a cheerful tone, "Though the practical effect might be less, coupled with my dueling experience, handling an average Dark Wizard should still be no problem."

"Average Dark Wizard?" Newt quickly added, "Miss Grindelwald, your brother is not an average Dark Wizard, he has caused considerable stir across Europe."

"I understand," Vivi looked at Harry, "Harry, would you be willing to go with me?"

"Of course," Harry replied, "Even if you can't defeat Gellert, isn't it still me?"

His impression of Gellert remained that of the eight-year-old child from a hundred years ago.

That little Sunflower Parrot, the one who held quite an opinion on him.

But Harry wasn't underestimating him; anyone whose name appears on a Chocolate Frog Card wouldn't be a nobody, besides, as Dumbledore's youthful rival, the level of his magic spells couldn't possibly be poor.

"I think, you really should replenish more magic power, Vivi," Pabi said looking up, "Even if Gellert Grindelwald still acknowledges you as his sister, those Dark Wizards under him may not recognize you..."

Newt lowered his head, silently sighing.

Oh my, my dear aunt, you are far too honest...

Isn't this practically handing Mr. Potter over to Miss Grindelwald?

"You're right," Vivi lightly chuckled, pulling Harry over, ignoring his protests, and sitting him down in the chair.

"You're shy?" Vivi whispered in Harry's ear, her breath warm.

Harry slightly stiffened, provoked by her words, he stopped struggling.

"How could I be? Isn't it just replenishing your magic power?"

Harry tried to relax, only to find he couldn't do it, still sitting tensely on Vivi's lap.

Should be said, this was Harry's closest contact with a girl.

Even a hundred years ago, Harry had never...well, not exactly, unknowingly, he'd enjoyed Cassandra's lap pillow after being knocked out by a spell—though when he showed signs of waking, Cassandra promptly tossed him aside, causing him to be knocked out again.

"Thinking about Kathy's matter?" Vivi suddenly asked.
