Chapter 140 - Chapter 112: What Are You Eating? Give Me a Piece_2

The cousin might not get angry, but once he understands what this word means, he's definitely going to punch him...

Come to think of it, it's pretty funny.

"Some things you need to learn to judge for yourself, Dudley." Harry rested his elbow on Dudley's chubby shoulder: "You know, sometimes parents are not always right. We must learn to distinguish right from wrong, after all... that's indeed quite a problem. It's fine for now, but be careful you won't be able to find a girlfriend in the future."

While saying this, Harry pinched Dudley's love handles.

"Then give me some, Harry," Dudley said earnestly, "I really don't want to end up without a girlfriend. Oh my, a lifetime without a girlfriend would be terrible."

After saying this, Dudley remembered something more important.

"But, where's my gift?"

Only then did Harry remember how his cousin's pursuit of gifts was truly earth-shattering.

He once overturned the dining table because he received two fewer gifts—almost choking Harry with bacon from the shock.

"Your gift is upstairs, all snacks from the Magic World—I brought you a bit of everything." Harry stood up, patting Dudley, "Come on, follow me upstairs."

"Really?" As soon as he heard about food, Dudley's eyes lit up.

He followed Harry step by step into Harry's room.

Harry took a suitcase out of his pocket and began to serve Dudley some delicious food after opening it.

"Wow, it's a cauldron cake!" Dudley cheered when he saw the cauldron cake, tearing into the packaging right away.

One must admit, the cauldron cake was truly delicious, especially with its sweet and sour raspberry jam that whetted Dudley's appetite.

Before he knew it, he had polished off seven of them.

"You sure eat fast." Harry said helplessly, pulling out more snacks from outside for him to eat.

What he didn't notice was that Pabi had quietly walked out from inside, standing silently behind them like a ghost.

"And this, you have to try it." Harry handed Dudley some candies from Duke Honey, "Here, open this jar and see."

Dudley was unaware of the seriousness of the situation as he took the jar and twisted open the lid...

"Oh my gosh..."

He yelled, almost throwing the jar away.

Inside the jar were densely packed cockroaches crawling all over, so close that their antennae were almost sticking out.

Even with Dudley's decent nerves, he was almost frightened by the disgusting scene in front of him.

Luckily, he reacted quickly, snapping the lid back on in a flash.

"What is this?" Dudley asked in horror.

"Candy, a type of cockroach-shaped candy." Harry replied casually, "Although it looks like a cockroach, it's really tasty inside. They say it's filled with cream, you should try it—"

Without a word, Dudley shut his eyes, twisted open the lid, grabbed a cockroach candy, and stuffed it into his mouth.

After a while, he happily opened his eyes.

"Ah, so sweet, it's delicious!"

"I think you and my headmaster would have a lot to talk about, honestly," Harry looked at Dudley with a warrior's gaze, "He is very interested in this kind of candy, but most people at school think he's crazy."

"I don't think so." Dudley, holding the jar, suddenly revealed an evil smile.

"What's up with that smile?" Harry asked.

"What do you think if I take this candy to school?" Dudley said wickedly, "I'll trick classmates into eating these cockroaches, and say whoever dares eat one, I'll... hmm... acknowledge them as the bravest person, and then I'll eat it at the end to show my courage, how about that?"

"If you don't want to get labeled as 'Cockroach Eater Dali', you'd better not try that." Harry advised earnestly.

Dudley thought about it, realizing it made sense.

He nodded in agreement with Harry.

"I suggest you tighten that lid." Harry offered a rather sensible suggestion, "After all, you wouldn't want a real one to get mixed in."

"It's indeed a sensible suggestion." Dudley acknowledged Harry's sensibility.

He tightened the candy jar and placed it aside, picking up another box, "What's this?"

"Blow-Me-Up Super Bubblegum," Harry introduced, "It can let people blow bluebell-colored bubbles that float in the room for days without popping."

"Nice stuff." Dudley set the box aside. "Oh, what's this?"

"I suggest you don't try that..."

Before Harry could finish, Dudley had already taken a big bite of the cake.

"Hagrid's Rock Cake," Harry sighed, "I forgot to take it out..."

"It's actually not bad." Dudley cheerily munched on the rock cake, showing no sign of its hardness.

Harry looked at the rock cake, then at his cousin, thinking maybe people's constitutions really vary?

However, he saw a white horse head stretching from behind Dudley's shoulder.

"What are you eating? Give me a piece!"

Hearing this female voice, Dudley was visibly stunned.

He was quite sure only he and Harry were in this room, no woman was there.

Looking back, Dudley let out a startled scream.

He saw Pabi's head.

Understandably, he was scared. If it were a person, fine, but it was clearly a horse—

Oh dear, it was terrifying.

Thankfully, Harry had cast a Silencing Spell before entering the room, otherwise his uncle and aunt would have been alerted.

"Holy Mother Mary!" Dudley shouted in terror.

"Not Mary." Pabi corrected, "It's Pabi."

Dudley looked at Pabi in horror, then at Harry.

"Pabi?"

"Pabi is a unicorn, Dudley." Harry could only explain, "She's my friend—you should feel honored, unicorns only talk to those with the purest souls."

"His soul is indeed pure." Pabi glanced at Dudley, telling Harry, "I think he finds meaning only in eating in his life."

"I must admit, Miss Unicorn." Dudley was still somewhat terrified, "What you said is very true."

"Okay Dudley, don't panic." Harry patted the bed, letting Pabi sit on it. He leaned against Pabi casually, saying, "Unicorns are very holy creatures, you should be happy, not afraid."

"Really?" Dudley swallowed his saliva, examining Pabi again.

There's no denying that the unicorn indeed looked supremely holy, even someone as simple as Dudley could sense her sanctity.

"Dudley! Dudley!"

His uncle's voice sounded outside.

"I should get going, Harry." Dudley sighed, "After all... um, the Masons are coming over, and I need to go rehearse on how to greet guests."

Finally, he said a bit irritated, "Ugh, I really don't get what Dad's thinking, why do we have to do this over and over again..."

"There is actually another way." Pabi suddenly said.

"What way?" Dudley immediately perked up.

He really didn't want to rehearse anymore, it felt so pointless.

If there's a way to escape such training, he'd be overjoyed.

"You can have Harry brew you some Euphoria Potion." Pabi said, shaking her head, "The potion can make people joyful. Just imagine, if that Masons couple comes over, and eats something with the potion, under the influence of joy, whatever your dad wants to discuss would be easy as pie?"

The more Pabi talked, the brighter Dudley's eyes became.

Finally, he cheered and dashed out.

"I'm going to tell Dad right now!" He ran off without looking back.
