Max, Poppi, and Verosika dove right back into the chaos of the party.
Music pounded.
Lights flashed.
Drinks flowed endlessly.
Everything was loud, wild, and completely out of control—
And then—
Boom.
Max was suddenly tackled into the ground.
Hard.
"…Ow."
He blinked up—
And found Bee on top of him.
"Oh my gods!" she said quickly, pulling him into a tight—very tight—hug. "I'm so glad you're alright! I'm so sorry!"
Max wheezed slightly.
"It's fine, Bee," he said, struggling a bit. "Just… maybe don't crush me into paste."
Without thinking, his hand moved to the back of her head—
And scratched.
A very specific spot.
Bee instantly froze.
Then her entire body went limp, twitching slightly as a goofy, blissed-out smile spread across her face.
"H-how… do you know about that spot?" she asked, her voice soft and completely melted.
Max smirked slightly.
"Lucky guess."
(Definitely not a lucky guess.)
That spot was basically a hidden kill switch—a sensitive pleasure point she had shown him before.
Bee leaned into the touch, clearly enjoying it far too much.
Max slowly helped her sit up.
"Well," he said, clearing his throat, "I guess I should introduce you."
He gestured.
"This is Poppi—one of my girlfriends."
Poppi gave a casual wave, still holding her drink.
"And this," Max continued, "is Verosika. Someone I'm hoping to add."
Bee blinked, still slightly dazed.
Verosika raised an eyebrow.
"You're planning to add me?" she asked.
Then she looked at Poppi.
"For some reason… I feel like you're serious about this."
She crossed her arms slightly.
"He treats you right?"
Poppi grinned.
"Absolutely."
She leaned against Max.
"He treats all of us right."
Then her eyes lit up.
"Oh! That reminds me!"
She pulled out her phone.
Max casually cast a small spell to mute the surrounding party noise.
The call connected.
"Hey y'all! Is Max there?" Millie's voice came through.
Max leaned in.
"I'm here. What's up?"
"Loona told me everything," Millie said cheerfully. "You're trying to win over Verosika and Beelzebub, right?"
Max nodded instinctively.
"Yeah."
"Well," Millie said confidently, "I fully approve."
She paused.
"As long as you can actually win them over."
Bee raised a hand slightly.
"Well… he got me," she said, still a little twitchy from earlier.
Max coughed.
"…Didn't think that would work that well."
He helped her stand properly.
Verosika tilted her head.
"But what about me?" she asked. "I'm a succubus. Sleeping around is kind of my whole thing."
Max smiled slightly.
"I figured you'd say that."
He reached into his shadow and pulled out a scroll.
"This is called Dream Walking."
He handed it to her.
"You can do everything you normally would—but in dreams instead of physically."
Verosika blinked.
Then slowly smiled.
"…That might actually work."
She rolled her shoulders.
"Honestly, humans summon succubi way too much these days."
She sighed.
"I've gotten tired of it."
Max smirked.
"Ouch. I used to be human, you know."
Verosika laughed.
"Yeah, yeah. Very funny."
From the phone, Millie's voice chimed in again.
"Wow, you're making progress fast!"
She paused.
"…Is that enough?"
As if responding to her words—
Two glowing documents appeared in front of Bee and Verosika.
Harem Contracts.
Max blinked.
"…Really?"
He stared at them.
"It took way longer for Loona and Millie."
Bee shrugged casually.
"Honestly? I'm surprised too."
Verosika smirked.
"Hey, I jump between relationships all the time. This isn't exactly new territory."
Before Max could say anything—
Both of them grabbed pens.
Signed.
Max reached out—
"Wait—"
Too late.
Time froze.
Max groaned.
"…Of course."
A familiar presence appeared.
God.
And beside him—
Roo.
Max looked between them.
"…Didn't expect to see you two this soon."
God smiled.
"Neither did I."
He clasped his hands behind his back.
"But the timing works out perfectly."
Max leaned back slightly.
"…What now?"
God's expression turned slightly more serious.
"I have a job for you."
Max raised an eyebrow.
"A job… from you?"
He smirked slightly.
"Sure. Why not."
God nodded.
"I need you to make a small change."
Max's eyes narrowed.
"…To what?"
God spoke calmly.
"Charlie."
Max froze.
"…Explain."
God raised a hand.
"Relax. I'm not asking you to harm her or change her nature."
He stepped closer.
"I'm going to send you back in time."
Max blinked.
"…Again?"
"To her childhood," God continued. "You'll act as her imaginary friend."
Max processed that.
"…That's new."
God nodded.
"Charlie was isolated for much of her early life."
He sighed lightly.
"Lucifer… doesn't exactly like Hell."
Max nodded slowly.
"Yeah, that tracks."
"I want you to help her," God said. "Teach her. Help her understand how Hell actually works."
Max thought for a moment.
Then nodded.
"…Yeah."
"I can do that."
Before he could say anything else—
Roo snapped her fingers.
Max's body shrank instantly.
Black and red fur covered him.
His limbs shifted.
His senses changed.
He landed softly on four paws.
A small wolf pup.
Max looked down at himself.
"…Really?"
Roo grinned.
"Have fun."
With another snap—
Reality warped.
And Max vanished, sent back in time.
[A: So I probably won't add Lilith unless its a massive difference in the vote. But im willing a substitute if you suggest one]
