--And so, I had a lot of fun chatting with Hoshimiya-san yesterday after school.
It was truly a dreamlike time.
When I woke up in the morning, I wondered if it had been a dream after all.
And so... here we finally return to the beginning of the story.
When I tried to call out to Hoshimiya-san as she arrived at school in the morning, she started reading and I couldn't say anything.
I was thinking that what happened yesterday was just a whim on Hoshimiya's part, and that from today we might go back to being strangers again...
"...Yohei-kun, why didn't you say anything?"
"We chatted so much yesterday."
Hoshimiya puffed out her cheeks as if to say she had reached her limit.
Apparently, she had been waiting for me to speak to her, but when I never said anything, she got impatient and sulked.
And on top of that.
"By the way... why do you call me by my last name?"
"I'm not Hoshimiya. I actually have a name called 'Hime'."
"Please call me by my name. Youhei-kun, you're older than me, so can't you even do that?"
Apparently he was unhappy about being called by his last name and was criticized for it.
He asked me to call him by his name.
She adored me more than I thought... and thought of me kindly.
What's more, she came and sat on my lap, even though our classmates were watching.
"It's comfortable on your lap, so I'll be taking class here today."
Of course, my classmates were surprised too.
The classroom suddenly became noisy, and even when it was time for morning SHR the noise still hadn't died down, and Hoshimiya-san wouldn't move from my lap.
--And then, time goes back.
"...What's wrong? It's noisy today."
The homeroom teacher, an older man, was also confused by the unusual classroom.
The teacher in tracksuit looked around the classroom, then looked surprised to see Hoshimiya-san...no, Hime, sitting on my lap.
"Um... Hoshimiya-san, what are you doing?"
If any other student besides Hime had done the same thing, they would probably reprimand her. However, Hime seems to be treated exceptionally specially by the teachers... or rather, respected? So she is very humble. The fact that they use polite language shows just how impressive Hime is.
However, it's possible that Hime doesn't really like being given "special treatment" like that.
"...I'm just sitting on Yohei's lap. Is there a problem?"
His attitude towards me is completely different.
They respond in a cold and curt manner.
Of course, the teacher doesn't point this out.
All I could do was bow deeply and prostrate myself.
"No! There's nothing wrong with that... Feel free to sit as long as you like!"
Hey, why are you deciding that?
It's on my lap, so I want to have the power to make the decisions.
But that seems impossible.
"Hey, you there... erm, hmm? Hmm... Oh well. Boy over there, please don't cause any trouble for Hoshimiya-san. You can stay like that during class."
The teacher didn't seem to remember my name. He tried really hard to remember, but in the end nothing came to mind, so he just called me "that boy over there."
Well, it's not that unusual for someone to not be recognized, so it's nothing to be upset about. Anyway... it seems like it's fine for Hime to continue attending classes like this.
"Well then, I'll take attendance. Now be quiet!"
...And then school starts as usual.
"...Hehehe♪ Youhei-kun is so warm and cozy."
However, it's obviously not normal for Hime to be sitting on your lap.
I never thought that Mob A would end up like this... It feels like this dream is still continuing.
