Ino didn't know that her dad could talk this much to people outside his family. Her dad was chatting up a storm with Zabuza! Even when he does talk to outsiders, it is usually about reports and village affairs that he has to manage.
And to make matters worse....
"And then she started crying, I just felt that from then on, I had to protect her" Inoichi said with a blazing look.
Zabuza patted his shoulders
"I get you, I get you, although I haven't been a parent to Haku for long, I can never forget the moments that riles me up" He said with a loving gaze
"Dad!" Haku and Ino both shouted
"Huh?" The two turned to see them with red faces since all their childhood secrets were being exposed one by one by these two!
Naruto pulled the two of them back
"Now, now, let the adults speak, children like us should not interfere in this matter" Naruto said with a mature smile...
*Bang*
Without hesitation, the two punched him in the face, and knocked him off his feet
"Traitor!" The two yelled at him before turning back to Inoichi and Zabuza
Naruto rubbed his nose
"Tss, that hurts" He stared at the two from behind, and a playful idea came to his mind. Naruto set up a recording formation behind them, then ran up to them, slapped a seal onto their backs before grabbing Tayuya and Kimimaro.
"Cya" He teleported away with them in tow and vanished from the room
*Poof*
In an instant, the two burst into a puff of white smoke, and when it cleared...
"That brat!" Haku shouted with a distorted look of rage
Ino was confused, she didn't know what was wrong until she saw Haku...
Haku's body has always been slim and rather feminine, but now, his flat chest puffed out ever so slightly, and his rosy lips became a little more noticeable.
*Gulp*
A devilish charm is what Haku has at this moment, and Ino was left speechless.
'Wait, if Haku's gender is changed, then I....' She patted her chest, then gasped
"Ah! Na-kun, you dummy!" Ino yelled
Inoichi and Zabuza stared at their kids in stupor, one moment, they were yelling at them, then at Naruto, now...they both switched genders?
'That's the damn thing he used on me!' Inoichi's expression twisted
But his rage quickly fizzled out when he saw Ino pout
"Say, Naruto usually records these things, no?" Inoichi asked
"H-Hah, y-yeah, why?" Ino asked noticed something was off with how Inoichi asked, and her attention was switched back to him.
"No reason...just want to ask for a copy" He replied
"Dad!" Ino shouted
"Hahaha, I can't help it, my baby girl became a baby boy, it's something Kiku would love to see as well" He laughed lovingly
"No, I won't allow it" Ino puffed her cheeks up and said
"Sweetie, your mum already has a copy of when the kid turned me into a woman, it's only fair if she has yours as well" He grinned

Ino's expression changed, so he wanted to use this so Kiku's attention will be taken off him, and be directed at her!
Haku was not having a better time either, as Zabuza seems to be holding in laughter as he stared at Haku.
"G-Go ahead and laugh" Haku gnashed his teeth and grumbled
"Fufufufu"
Haku held back all the things he wanted to shout...he would save it for when Naruto came back.
Meanwhile, Naruto pulled the other two with him to the Hokage's office, where they saw the rare sight of Tsunade being grabbed by the ear, being yelled at.
"It was just one jar" Tsunade yelled
"Where did it come from!" Shizune pulled on her ear even harder as she growled
The moment the three of them popped in, they heard this, and Naruto stiffened up. Tsunade's eyes lit up as she signalled him with her eyes.
'Help me!' She signalled
'The f**k am I supposed to do???' Naruto gestured back
'Anything! Get her off my a*s!'
'Fine, you awe me one'
Naruto clapped his hands
"Uh, Shizune-san, those wine are specially brewed by me for the Hokage-sama to drink in her spare time, they are made with special herbs that helps ease the mind and relieve stress, as Hokage, the role is incredibly stressful and straining" Naruto feigned a worried expression as he stopped forward.
"Naruto? Why are you here? And you were the one who gave her the wine!?" She exclaimed as she released Tsunade and stormed up to him.
Naruto didn't waver as he crossed his arms
"Hokage-sama has taken the burden to oversee the entire village, she is such a free spirit, yet for the village, she was willing to be shackled to this unsavoury seat, what I did is both a show of appreciation and gift to her" Naruto said firmly
Shizune's lips twitched, such pleasant words to coat the fact that he is giving Tsunade alcohol to drink on her work hours.
"Hoh? So that includes bribing the Hokage?" She asked
"Nonsense, when have I ever bribed her?" Naruto responded immediately, his firm rejection looked genuine, to Shizune at least.
Tayuya and Kimimaro were amazed at how shameless he can be. He bribed her right in front of their very eyes after all, and yet he denies it so easily when it was brought up.
"Really now?" Shizune asked
"I am an upright person, what I do, I do for the good of the village, Hokage-sama deserves a break every now and then" Naruto said
'Good work bro!' Tsunade signalled with her eyes
'Don't worry sis, I've got this' He signalled back
[What's this now? Some sort of bond through corruption?]
'What corruption, this is true trust in one another' Naruto snorted
Naruto then signalled at tsunade again
'Sis, phase 2'
'On it' Tsunade stuck out a small bottle that she drank
Shizune however, didn't buy it at all. She already knew that Tsunade was promised alcohol from Naruto, but the numbers didn't add up, and she sometimes also drinks while doing the paperwork which was a major issue.
"You need to stop giving her so much wine, it's affecting her work" Shizune responded
Naruto shook his head
"Shizune-san, listen, Hokage-sama is clearly mentally exhausted from the paperwork, see, there are dark circles under her eyes" Naruto said as his brows furrowed, behind his back, he opened a small bottle where a faint pink mist dispersed into the air.
"What dark circles? She's perfectly fi-" Shizune turned around, and Tsunade looked as if she hasn't slept in days!
Her skin was a little pale, and below her eyes were dark circles that were very apparent on her pale face. Shizune's pupils shrunk, just how did this happen?
Did she really not notice Tsunade's conditions? She hurried over and checked Tsuande's body.
"Th-This-...This is impossible, Tsunade-sama, have you really been in this bad of a condition?" She exclaimed, unable to understand how this happened.
'Was I too focused on the wine, and didn't realise the state she was on?'
Shizune, for some reason, felt her judgements slowly get clouded, but she didn't feel anything was amiss. Now, she was panicking as she didn't realise Tsunade's conditions, and started to blame herself for it.
'Step two, complete'
[What was that thing you just released?]
'It's nothing amazing, just a weak anaesthetic gas, it clouds her judgement when she is exposed to it' Naruto replied
Kurama, as well as Kimimaro and Tayuya were all left at a loss. Damn, the two were so proficient in doing this that it looked rehearsed! One distracted so the other can drink medicine that makes them look sick, then they switch roles!
'Konoha is an absolute mess!' Tayuya cursed
Naruto and Tsunade were simply too in sync, mere eye contact is enough to communicate with one another! Yet instead of using it for something practical, they use it to hide their corruption!
"I'm fine Shizune, I'll finish this pile and take a break later" Tsunade said weakly
"No, you go rest, I'll cover for you until you recover" Shizune said with a worried look
"How can I? I am the Hokage, it is my responsibility" Tsunade shook her head and said
"Hokage-sama, please rest!" Naruto said reverently
"This..." Tsunade furrowed her brows
"Yes, go rest" Shizune nodded
With her pleading eyes, Tsunade finally let out a deep sigh
"Fine, just a few hours of sleep, I'll come back right away" Tsunade said in a low voice
"I wish you a speedy recover, Hokage-sama" Naruto bowed as Tsunade walked by
When they walked by, the two shook hands with Shizune's notice and revealed a cunning smirk.
'F**k, they make Orochimaru-sama look like saints at this point' Tayuya grumbled
"Since Hokage-sama is resting, I will come another day" Naruto said as he stepped out the office with Tayuya and Kimimaro
"Go ahead" Shizune sat down and began doing the paperwork on Tsunade's behalf
When they stepped out and closed the door, Tsunade stood by the side with a wide grin
"Let's head to my room to discuss" Tsunade whispered as she pointed down the hallway
Naruto nodded and followed her. The room she stayed at isn't far from the office, still in the same building.
The room wasn't big, but it had all her necessities, and the quality of the furniture inside were all top-notch.
"So, why're you here, lil bro?" Tsunade smiled as she sat down on her bed
"Come on, can't I come by if I want to see my sis?" Naruto laughed
"We both know that's bullsh*t" Tsunade chuckled
"Fine~, Kimimaro here is in need of another treatment" Naruto said as he pushed Kimimaro up
"Right, I forgot about him, sure, I'll heal him" She nodded
She gestured for Kimimaro to walk up to her, and grabbed his wrist. The treatment went on for a few minutes before she released his hand.
"Your body isn't doing too bad, the problem is still the tangled up chakra paths, if they aren't cleared, you won't be able to use chakra, so my estimate of one more session isn't enough, maybe a few more" She said
"Sis....you can drop the act now, what is really wrong with his body?" Naruto asked
"....*sigh*, fine, his body is in a terrible state, his body is aging rapidly, and the cause is unknown, my treatment slowed down the effect, but it's not a permanent solution" She replied
Naruto nodded, he felt that Tsunade's expression was a little forced, and it turned out to be quite the issue.
Tsunade then gave a rough breakdown of what's happening in Kimimaro's body, and the more they heard, the more grim their expressions became.
"I see, it's a surprise he's still walking, no?" Naruto asked
"Indeed, he should have collapsed long ago, but there seems to be an outside source of energy in his body that is slowly fighting off the effects of his illness" Tsunade replied
"Oh?" Naruto's eyes shone with a hint of interest
"An outside energy eh?" He licked his lips as ideas came to his mind
He himself is well aware of Kurama's immense healing ability. But Kimimaro hasn't absorbed enough for it to be that apparent.
'That means that the effects of Kurama's chakra on his illness is immense, perhaps this is an illness he can overcome over time as long as he stays by my side' Naruto's eyes flickered with interest at the thought of this.
"Any ideas on that?" Tsunade asked
"Somewhat, for now, how are his physical injuries" Naruto asked
"Practically nonexistant after the first treatment, his physical injuries were never severe, it was that strange illness that troubled me" Tsunade responded
"I see...well, thanks for the help sis" Naruto grinned
"Any time as long as you can get me out of work" Tsunade said with a wink
Naruto laughed in response
With his goal completed, Naruto teleported back to the house to see how the situation was, and is quickly met with two pairs of dark eyes.
"So~, how was the chat?" Naruto acted as if he didn't do anything and simply smiled
"Fantastic, how was yours" Ino forced out a smile as she walked over
"It went well, had fun, and~..." Naruto snapped his fingers as a scroll appeared in his hand.
When he opened the scroll, the scene of Ino and Haku transforming began playing, causing the two of them to flare up in an instant.
"Sensei, Inoichi-san, care for a copy?" Naruto smiled harmlessly
"I won't say no" Zabuza nodded
"I'll take it" Inoichi agreed
"Dad! Dammit Naruto, don't you dare give it to him" Ino shouted, dropping the nickname in a fit of anger.
Naruto rubbed his nose
"Ouch, I think my nose is starting to hurt again, so weird" He said with a faint smile
Ino and Haku immediately knew what he was asking for, but the smug look he had on his face made them want to tear him apart.
"Kid, pass the scroll over already" Inoichi said
"Of course, right away" Naruto skipped over
But right when he passed by Haku and Ino, the two tripped him and grabbed the scroll before tearing it to shreds.
"Oops, sorry" Haku said
Naruto rolled his eyes and stood up
"No worries, I have copies" Naruto said as he pulled out a pile of scrolls, each with the recording
"Th-This..." This left them at a loss, meanwhile, Zabuza and Inoichi simply grabbed a scroll before tucking it away....
"...."
'I should have just apologised...' The two began regretting the plan of tripping him, they didn't think he'd have so many copies prepared already!
But the two didn't realise, what recorded them wasn't the scroll itself, rather, the seal he imprinted onto it. He already has a seal that recorded the scenes, and transplanted it into his own memories, which is finally then inscribed onto the scroll in the form of a seal.
So even if they destroy every copy he has, he can easily just make more.
"Next time you two hit me, remember....I'm petty" Naruto smiled as he patted their shoulders
As Naruto laughed at their annoyed look, he felt something.
'This...ah right, the one I gave Kankuro'
Naruto's expression became serious as he grabbed Tayuya and Kimimaro, before teleporting away once more.
"And there he goes again, I can't tell if he's busy, or just has a lot of time" Ino huffed
-Sunagakure-
Naruto teleported to the kunai he gave Kankuro, and appeared in a small room with Kankuro facing him.
"What's the problem?" Naruto asked
"Please....protect Gaara" Kankuro said
"Hm? Elaborate, Gaara shouldn't be weak enough to need my protection now that he has befriended the Ichibi" Naruto said
Kankuro sighed
"As you know, Sunagakure is currently without a leader, so the land is in a mess, leading to our guard to become higher, but there has been sightings of suspicious figures near the village, while we have no manpower, I know this is asking a lot, but we need all the help we can to eliminate every threat before we figure things out" Kankuro said with a helpless look.
Naruto rubbed his chin
"I don't mind, but what does this have anything to do with Gaara?" Naruto asked
"We have intercepted this group once...but it led to a team wipe, while their desires to capture Gaara alive during that time was evident, backup arrived in time for us to escape, but..." Kankuro sighed
"I see..." Naruto muttered, if they wanted to capture Gaara, then only one group came to mind.
'The Akatsuki...'
"They didn't seem to want to engage us in combat when we found them, but because of our pursuit, they fought back, so I assume they don't want any conflict because they have a bigger plan in stall" Kankuro added
'So they're scouting the situation'
"What do they look like?" Naruto asked
"Black cloaks with red clouds, one of them had yellow hair with bangs covering one eye, while the other one was short and a hunched back with his face covered" Kankuro answered
"The blonde one didn't act, he seems to be a little inexpereinced and was hesitant in his actions, but the other one...he summoned two puppets and left us on the defensive, nearly wiping out our squad had Gaara not been there" He muttered as his brows furrowed
Naruto nodded and jotted these points down
'I see, but at this moment, Kimimaro is a problem...he cannot help, and will even become a burden' Naruto fell silent as he thought of this problem.
He hadn't put much thought into it initially, but now that he did, he felt that having these two follow him everywhere is quite problematic at times like this.
"What to do..." Naruto muttered
"Is something the matter?" Kankuro asked
"Nothing, just thinking that I can't be in two places at...once....hold on, that's it! I'm such an idiot!" Naruto placed a hand over his head and laughed.
"Genius my a*s, I'm a fool, to have forgotten the most basic things!" Naruto laughed
"Did you finally go crazy?" Tayuya asked with a sneer
"When am I not crazy?" Naruto stopped laughing and stared at her with a serious expression
"..." Why is it so hard to even talk bad about him? This guy takes it like a sponge in water!
Naruto summoned a clone, and channeled the nine tail's chakra into it, enough for it to form three tails.
'Kurama, how long will your chakra last on the clone'
[One hour at most] Kurama responded
"Good" Naruto smiled
"Kimimaro, from now on, you stay with this clone and just stay put, Tayuya, you're coming with me" Naruto said
"Hah!? Why do I need to go with you while he gets to sit and do nothing? I refuse" Tayuya sneered as she crossed her arms.
Naruto rolled his eyes
"I'll let you stay put if you cripple yourself right here and now" Naruto said in a low voice

"Tch, lucky b*stard" Tayuya muttered towards Kimimaro before stepping behind Naruto.
"Don't be so down, if you're lucky, I'll use you as a meat shield later, how's that? Get you in on the action, team work, and mutual support" Naruto winked
"....you're f**king with me, aren't you?"
"Indeed I am, but what can you do? Bleh" Naruto stuck out his tongue and flipped her off
"...if there is a higher entity up there, give me the strength to not smite this son of a b*tch in his sleep" She gnashed her teeth as veins bulged on her forehead
Kankuro gulped
"Uh...N-Naruto, perhaps you should stop antagonising her" He said meakly, Tayuya may have her face covered, but the eyes he can see are absolutely terrifying.
They looked as if they were ready to devour a person whole!
"Nah, she's a prick, and will be quite annoying if I don't bring her down a peg" Naruto replied
"Damn hypocrite" Tayuya spat
"Glad that you realised, now, get a move on, Kankuro, give me directions" Naruto said
"Mn" Kankuro led Naruto out of the house in secret, as it would be quite the issue if the jinchuriki of another village appears in their village unannounced.
He knew the elders would not allow outside help now that the Kazekage is dead, so his only option was to call Naruto here in secret, not even Temaro and Gaara knew of this.
Kankuro brought Naruto outside the village, and led him out into the desert.
"Their last appearance was around here, I need to head back before things get bad, I don't need you to engage them, just find out their true purpose in capturing Gaara and their hideout, we will reinforce our defences in the meantime" Kankuro said with a serious expression
"No problem, but I already have a rough idea as to why" Naruto muttered
The Akatsuki has already targeted him for his nine tails, so it's obvious they want Gaara for his Ichibi. His only goal was to see if they have a temporary base around here, or if their entire group is hidden nearby.
'Judging by the fish guy and Itachi's movements, they are only here temporarily to scout out the situation in Sunagakure before making their moves' Naruto thought
Naruto and Tayuya began searching the area for any possible traces of the two members of the Akatsuki, however, found nothing in the end.
"He said it's been a few days since then, so maybe they left" Tayuya said, wanting to return already, but Naruto didn't allow for it.
"They are matters related to me as well, so I can't just go" Naruto replied
"Aren't they after the sand kid? Where did you come in the equation" Tayuya huffed
"They are after the tail beasts, so they'll come for me sooner or later" Naruto said as he continued to search for clues as to where they could be.
Every hour, he would have to return to the village to recharge his clone with Kurama's chakra. As bothersome as it was, he'd rather do that than have Kimimaro follow him on a search mission.
However, even after night fell, he was still clueless, and came to two conclusions. Either they were meticulous and removed all traces, or they did not travel by ground. As a result, he decided to head back to Sunagakure and meet up with Kankuro.
As they travelled back Tayuya realised that Naruto was leaving seals everywhere they passed by, be it on rocks, or on the ground.
"What are those for?"
"Sensors, if living organisms pass by, I'll receive a notice, if it's the Akatsuki members...I'll set off a chain explosion that will overturn the desert" Naruto licked his lips and said with a rather excited look.
"Why do you look so excited? As if you want the explosion to happen?" Tayuya asked
"Cause I do, aren't you curious about the destruction of hundreds upon hundreds explosive seals, each with enough power to flatten a small building?" Naruto asked
"...no, I never thought that, cause individual explosions aren't strong enough to harm people like us in the first place, even if it is bunched up" Tayuya replied, confident that she can use her Dokis to protect her from such explosions.
Naruto's eyes lit up upon hearing that
"You're right! The individual explosions are too weak, I'll add some poison into it, after the explosion occurs, the poison will spread, fantastic observation Tayuya!" Naruto laughed as he took out bottles of poison that he planted next to each seal, so that if an explosion happens, the bottle will shatter and spread the poison.
"Question...what will happen if someone just so happens to trigger an explosion here, maybe, during a spar or a battle...what will happen?"
"It's getting late, we should head back and sleep"
"Oi, answer my question" Tayuya said
"Are you tired? I sure am" Naruto yawned
"...you do realise that you'll kill innocent people if it goes wrong, right?" Tayuya added
"That is a sacrifice I'm willing to take" Naruto said with a straight face
"...you are literally making zero sacrifices, unless you're talking about your consciousness, which I think you already sacrificed long ago" Tayuya grumbled
Naruto huffed
"Nonsense, I am sacrificing my pure and noble heart, with this, my gentle heart has been tainted by a sin which I shall wash away soon with the blood of the evil Akatsuki members" Naruto said softly, acting as if he was making the hardest decision of his life.
Tayuya pinched between her brows
"Urgh, you're insufferable" She muttered
"No, I'm Naruto" He replied with a grin
"...that joke isn't funny"
"That's a lie, it was a great joke" Naruto said flatly as he stopped walking, seemingly refusing to move from the spot until she says otherwise.
"Fine, fine, it's a good joke, happy now? If so, get a move on, I'm tired and hungry" Tayuya sighed, not wanting to argue with him as it would be pointless.
In a way, she's amazed by how insane this kid can be. He is unpredictable in nature, and is impossible to talk to if he wishes not to as he often avoids conversations in stupid ways.
"Damned brat" She muttered under her breath
Naruto pretended he didn't hear it, and went off, continuing to place seals down and burying poison around it.
'I need to figure out how the beast bombs can be stored' Naruto thought to himself
One small beast bomb is equal to dozens of the seals he had placed, so if he can figure that out, it can save him a lot of time and effort for a better effect.
It took some time to return to the village, but he intentionally took a longer route so the seals would cover a wider region.
"How'd the search go" Kankuro asked when he saw Naruto enter
"Didn't find anything, but I've placed some seals around so I'll be notified if they pass by the areas I searched" Naruto replied
"That's good"
"I also turned it into a mine field" Naruto added
"...you what now?" Kankuro froze up when he heard what Naruto just said...a mind field???
He stared at Naruto, his eyes twitching as he hoped to hear Naruto say it's a joke, but that line never came...
"I turned it into a mind field, don't worry, the mines won't go off unless I sense the members of that group, or if there is an explosion that occurs nearby" Naruto smiled
"Oh, wow, thanks...is that what you think I'd say? I asked you to scout, not turn our land into a bomb zone!" Kankuro pinched between his brows and sighed
Naruto patted his back
"It's fine~, just make sure no one passes these areas" Naruto took out a map of Sunagakure, and crossed many areas off as he drew an X almost everywhere on the map...
"..."
"Oh right, take this scroll, if the seals I placed sense any living creature, a surveillance will be linked to this scroll, and you will see who it is, if it's the members of the group, you'll get a warning before they invade" Naruto said as he handed Kankuro a scroll.
Kankuro received the scroll with a genuine smile
"Thanks, honestly, I was wondering if you'd help if I actually threw the kunai, but to think you'd agree so quickly...as for the minefield....I-I'll see if I can convince the elders" He spoke with much less confidence about the second statement...
'Well, they're after my a*s as well, I'm helping myself' Naruto naturally didn't say it out loud
"Got a room for me to stay?" Naruto asked
"Right, I have a spare room, but..." He glanced at Tayuya
"She can sleep on the floor" Naruto said
"Oh, yeah, you can-...roll it back, her, and not you?" Where's the decency of a gentlemen!? He said Tayuya should sleep on the floor!?
He was about to say that the floor is clean so a mattress is enough, but he actually said Tayuya can just go sleep on the floor instead? Damn!
"Hah? Can't you just teleport back to the village and come back tomorrow? Why should I sleep on the floor" Tayuya exclaimed
"Hey now, don't you know to be kind to kids younger than you? As my senior, you should be mature and offer the spot on the bed to me" Naruto patted his chest and said
Kankuro was left at a loss for words, this-this...this kid is too shameless!
"Senior my a*s, don't you know to respect your seniors?" Tayuya exclaimed
"I am! A senior should be dignified and more mature than brats like myself, so I'm giving you plenty of respect by acting like a pretentious prick so you can take the honour of sleeping on the floor" Naruto responded with an upright expression.
"...." Tayuya gnashed her teeth as she rolled up her sleeves
"Last time I didn't go all out on you, don't think I will this time" She growled as she took out her flute.
"Hey now, how can a senior pick a fight with a junior? Huh? Where's your dignity? Where's your honour!" Naruto shouted
"F**k dignity! F**k honour! And f**k you!" She shouted as she placed the flute against the mask and was about to play it.
*Bang*
"Kankuro, I heard someone else in your room, what's going on" Temari burst into the room and shouted.
But upon seeing Naruto, her expression stiffened.
"So it was you...why are you even here!?" She frowned
Tayuya paused her actions, but she didn't lower her flute.
"Uh, came to visit my good buddy Kankuro and have a sleep over" Naruto replied as he hung his arms over Kankuro's shoulders.
Kankuro quickly nodded as he forced out a smile
"Yep, sis, he came to visit" He said
"...fine, but don't cause any trouble, and who is that?" She pointed to Tayuya and asked
"A prick who doesn't act her age" Naruto replied
"Coming from the brat who wants me to sleep on the floor cause I'm two years older than him" Tayuya clicked her tongue and said
"Petty b*tch" Naruto sneered
"A*shole" Tayuya snapped
"F**k you" Naruto cursed
"I'd like to see you try, but as I can see, you don't have any balls!" Tayuya growled at him
[Ouch] Kurama chuckled in a mocking tone
"Damn, you're swooping way to low, I'm only thirteen, how can you say that about me, perv" Naruto exclaimed in shock
Tayuya's fists clenched, why is he so damn obnoxious to talk to!
'Why do I even bother arguing with him when I know I won't win! He's too damn shameless!'
Seeing that Tayuya was left speechless, Naruto rubbed his nose as he assumed victory over this nonsense of an argument.
[....] What a pointless victory....
Temari pinched between her brows
