Part 2)

"Now, I hope you all will listen even more carefully," Lupin said, tapping the desk with his wand, trying to attract the students' attention, but most of them still stared at him with pale faces.
"When you encounter a werewolf, if there is no possibility of defeating him, the best way is to run away, and you must not be bitten by him." Lupin didn't care whether the students were willing to listen to him or not, and continued to speak to himself, as if he was talking to himself.
"What happens if you get bitten? Professor?" Harry stood up and asked.
To be honest, since Malfoy revealed the truth that Lupin was a werewolf, and Lupin himself admitted it, his head had been in a mess. He didn't know how to face the teacher who treated him so well. Looking at the shrinking students with fear and suspicion in their eyes, Harry felt he had to do something. Ron had desperately tugged at his robe, trying to stop him from standing up, but he broke free.
"That's a good question." Lupin snapped his fingers, nodded, and said, "Ten points to Gryffindor. Before I resign, I should still be a teacher at Hogwarts, and I still have this right. As for your question, Harry-"
"A person bitten by a werewolf will be infected and become a new werewolf." Hermione's eyes were completely red at this moment, and she spoke first. "It's a very vicious means of revenge. Some people would rather be killed directly by a werewolf than become one," Hermione said sadly.
"Miss Hermione is absolutely right, another ten points to Gryffindor." Lupin forced a smile and took the lead in applauding, but no one followed suit.
Now he seemed very lonely on the podium, like a lonely clown.
He was forcing a smile.
"Professor Lupin, stop talking. These are not things you should be saying now. You should go find Professor Dumbledore," Hermione's voice was already tearful. She knew that Lupin must be very uncomfortable now, but he was still telling his students, hoping that none of them would repeat his mistakes.
This lesson would be unforgettable for everyone present.
"Okay, where were we? New werewolves?" Lupin snapped his fingers, ignored Hermione's suggestion, and continued, "The status of an infected werewolf is actually very awkward. Ordinary wizards will hate them, and the werewolf pack does not recognize such members. Fortunately, most of the time, these infected werewolves always appear in the form of ordinary people, and only transform on the night of the full moon, becoming bloodthirsty and irrational."
"It seems you've already guessed." Seeing that some of the students below had already shown understanding, Lupin was somewhat gratified and continued, "The last time Professor Snape came to substitute for me, it happened to be the day of the full moon, so I could only lie that I was sick and couldn't come to teach you."
"Then where did you go that night? Did you go to kill someone? Or bite someone?" a Slytherin student asked, trembling.
"Heh, you should have some faith in your headmaster." Hearing this question, Lupin actually laughed and said jokingly, "Dumbledore would never allow a reckless werewolf to become your teacher. Most of the time, on the night of the full moon, I stay in a room, locked inside, and wreak havoc on the things in the room." As Lupin spoke, his eyes wandered again, as if he had thought of some past event.
"Of course, that's in the past tense." Lupin shrugged and said, "Your potions teacher, Professor Snape, at Professor Dumbledore's request, concocted a Wolfsbane Potion for me for a period of time. So, in those few months, I only needed to drink this potion the week before the full moon to complete the transformation while maintaining my sanity. In most cases, I would just lie on my office desk and sleep for a while, and it would be fine." He then added, "Of course, Snape still doesn't trust me enough,
Or maybe he just doesn't like me, so he taught you how to identify werewolves and kill them in my place."
"So you haven't hurt anyone?" Seamus, who had caused explosions in the classroom before, asked stutteringly.
"Of course." Lupin nodded in response.
Fear comes from the unknown. After Lupin revealed everything, the wall of prejudice that stood between teachers and students seemed to dissipate a lot immediately. Even if there was still fear, it was no longer the kind of fear that made people change color.
"I have done the best I can. Everyone, you can also think that what I just said was the ranting of a werewolf after being exposed, but as the last words of a teacher, I sincerely hope that you can take my words to heart." Perhaps it was an illusion, but everyone present heard a slight nasal sound in Lupin's words.
"Goodbye, everyone!" Lupin bent down and bowed to all the students present, then gently pushed the door open with his wand and walked out.
This time he didn't look back.
Now most of the students in the classroom were in a complicated mood, and regret began to spread. In all fairness, this was the best teacher they had encountered in three years, and they could fully feel the emotion in what Lupin had just said, and their performance was the culprit for driving Lupin away.
"Why did you make this public?" Hermione's face was now covered with a flush of anger, and fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead and the tip of her nose. Her whole body was trembling as she loudly questioned Malfoy, even stirring up the emotions of the other students, causing them to feel a common hatred.
"I'm really puzzled, Miss Granger, why should I bear the consequences of this matter in your eyes?" Malfoy reached out and stopped Pansy, who was about to argue with Hermione, and said in an indifferent tone, "I clearly asked Mr. Lupin before, and he confirmed that I would not be responsible for the consequences of any means I used. Am I wrong? When facing a dark wizard, shouldn't I exploit weaknesses? He just gave you a lesson himself, have you forgotten so quickly?" Malfoy shook his head after speaking.
"But you clearly know that Professor Lupin isn't dark-" Hermione strongly disagreed with Malfoy's remarks and began to argue, but was interrupted again.
"Who do you think drove him away?"
Malfoy retorted.
"When I revealed his identity, the fear shown by all the students present was not feigned." Malfoy's gaze swept over all the students, saying somewhat contemptuously.
"He is a werewolf, is that a fact? Yes, Lupin himself admitted it. I stated a fact and avoided risks for you. Now you're blaming me."
Malfoy continued with a sneer.
"But Professor Lupin just explained it clearly-" Hermione wanted to continue arguing, but was ruthlessly interrupted again.
"What a joke. Professor Snape and he don't have a good relationship. What if he added some sugar to the finished Wolfsbane Potion one day? Who can bear the consequences?"
"Your eyes just betrayed everything. I can see that it's harshness and disgust." Malfoy ruthlessly pointed out this fact, casually scanning the students sitting in their seats.
All the students who had just made this behavior lowered their heads in shame.
"When the human brain cannot think deeply, they always use simple and crude methods to avoid risks. The rules summarized from experience often work. Labeling is really the simplest method, and there is no need to have any psychological burden. The psychology of conformity can make every evildoer feel at ease."
"However, after an avalanche, no snowflake is innocent," Malfoy said meaningfully.
The students sitting in their seats below began to talk anxiously among themselves, and they were now thinking about everything about Professor Lupin.
"I even played the role of a political and ideological teacher, which is not what I hoped for." Malfoy still maintained that righteous expression, but his heart was very helpless. He had to be a villain again.
If possible, Malfoy also felt that Lupin was a very good teacher and hoped that he could continue to stay in office. However, in order to make way for someone, he could only wrong him.
Is peaceful coexistence brought about by deception better, or is it more touching for people to be honest with each other after tearing apart the disguise in a bloody way?
This is a question with an unknown answer.
However, under Malfoy's promotion, this has become impossible to choose.
