Chapter 132 - Chapter 132 Belated Moody

"Stupefy!" Lupin finally found an opportunity, abruptly turned around, raised his wand, and a fierce spark erupted from the tip. With an explosion, Snape was hit and fell straight to the ground with a thud. [Read the latest chapter]

"That was close." Hermione slumped to the ground, clutching her chest and gasping for breath, looking at Snape lying on the ground like a dead fish, still shaken.

"Sirius, we need to hurry." Lupin said, looking at Black, while trying to cast a spell on the wound on his waist to stop the bleeding, but to no avail.

The areas damaged by the Sectumsempra curse cannot be 'regenerated' by any means. The only way to heal it is with the corresponding counter-curse.

"I think it's better to subdue Wormtail first, before things get worse." Sirius Black coughed a few times. Snape's spell had made him feel very unwell. He suspected that the impact of the Disarming Charm had even broken a few of his ribs, but he still forced himself to stand up, walked over to the fallen Snape, pried Hermione's wand from his hand, and took it back.

"Thank you, Harry's friend." Black clutched the wand tightly and thanked Hermione. For most wizards, it was their confidence, even if it wasn't their own.

Hermione's willingness to lend her wand showed her trust in him.

Then, the two of them once again formed a pincer movement against Peter Pettigrew in the corner, closing in step by step.

Peter Pettigrew wanted to cry but had no tears. He couldn't believe that his savior had been taken down so quickly.

"Don't force me!" he suddenly shrieked, his shrill voice echoing throughout the office, like fingernails scraping on a blackboard.

"Last time, I only used one finger." Peter Pettigrew said frantically, raising his hand with the missing finger. "And that was on a wide street. Now, in such a confined space, do you dare to risk an explosion?" he said with a ferocious expression.

"Go ahead and try." Sirius said indifferently. Lupin simply shook his head; they wouldn't be intimidated by such verbal threats.

"Then what about her? You may be able to protect yourselves, but can you watch this girl die in front of you?" Peter Pettigrew suddenly exerted force with his legs, gripped his wand tightly, and leaped towards Hermione, who was kneeling. It was hard to imagine that such a fat body could perform such a flexible movement. Perhaps this was the potential that people could unleash when driven to desperation.

Hermione's mind went blank, and she just watched as the wretched man grinned and lunged at her.

She wanted to stand up, but found that she couldn't muster any strength.

Her wand was also lent to Sirius, and she had lost her only means of self-defense.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

"Stupefy!"

Two dazzling spells were simultaneously fired from Black's and Lupin's wands, shooting towards Peter Pettigrew.

Peter Pettigrew felt a burst of ecstasy in his heart, while muttering incantations. Then, Lupin and Black saw the person suspended in mid-air gradually shrinking, and shrinking again. Accompanied by the transformation, he turned back into the rat they were so familiar with.

He began his transformation in the air! The two spells that were originally aimed at his thigh and front of his body all missed because of the volume reduction brought about by his transformation, hitting the wall and stirring up bursts of dust.

Maintaining the Animagus form for more than a decade had allowed Peter Pettigrew to master this magic to the bone.

"Foolish, how could I sacrifice my life." Peter Pettigrew thought smugly. His little trick could fool these people. He had no so-called bottom line, but for Lupin and Sirius, the justice they adhered to was their weakness, which could be used at any time, just like him now. As long as he made a move that threatened the student, they would be constrained.

Now he just needed to escape quickly, and then immediately find Fudge or Malfoy, and vigorously smear Black and Lupin. It would be best if they were also locked up in Azkaban, so that his secret would never be revealed.

Because no one would believe the words of a few criminals. It would only be the nonsense said after the criminals' mental breakdown.

He would still be the acclaimed hero!

In the blink of an eye, Peter Pettigrew skillfully escaped through the slightly ajar door.

"Damn it." Black cursed, and wanted to chase after Peter, but was stopped by Lupin's hand.

"You're injured, and it's not appropriate for you to appear in front of others right now. I'll go." Lupin said.

"Invisibility Cloak." Hermione reminded weakly.

"Right, the Invisibility Cloak." Sirius Black woke up as if from a dream, quickly pulled out the shimmering silver cloak, draped it over his body, and stepped out the door with Lupin.

"All this nonsense ends here." A low, hoarse voice suddenly appeared outside the door, just as Sirius Black and Lupin were stepping out at the same time.

In Hermione's eyes, she saw the two of them stepping out of the door at the same time, and then it was as if they had hit an invisible net. Under the powerful force, the two of them were bounced back together, instantly falling to the ground, unconscious.

"Could it be Peter Pettigrew's sneak attack?" Hermione's heart couldn't help but rise, but she quickly denied her idea. She didn't believe that with Peter Pettigrew's performance just now, he would have the courage to take the initiative.

The dim room was also lit up again because the door was opened again.

The Invisibility Cloak on Sirius Black's body had already revealed a corner due to the large movements just now, and could no longer completely cover his body, exposing his head and the wand in his hand.

"Enervate! Enervate!" Hermione didn't have much time to think. Her legs had slightly recovered some strength, so she hurriedly ran to the unconscious Sirius, crouched down, took back her wand, and waved it repeatedly, continuously casting the restorative spells she could cast, the light at the tip of the wand flickering uncertainly.

But the two showed no signs of waking up.

"If my Stunning Spell could be so easily undone by a third-year girl, then I should really retire." This was a man's voice, as hoarse as before. He slowly pushed the door open, and the first thing to step into the room was his leg.

A wooden prosthetic leg.

"Mad-Eye Moody!" When that distinct bright blue magical eye came into her sight, Hermione knew who he was.

Only he had the strength to stun both Sirius Black and Professor Lupin at the same time.
