Chapter 530 - Interdimensional Order

Nexum World Base, Dimensional Communication Center.

Ethereal blue energy flowed steadily within the precision ring-shaped apparatus, maintaining a fragile connection across the barriers of reality. After days of attempts and signal calibrations, the encrypted communication request from Osiris (Main Body) was finally received by WILLE, establishing a stable link.

The holographic image of Misato Katsuragi appeared in the center of the communication room. Behind her was the backdrop of the sleek, efficient command center of WILLE's flagship, the AAA Wunder. She looked more exhausted than before, but her gaze remained sharp, and her dark commander's uniform was impeccable.

"Dr. Osiris," Misato's voice carried a hint of subtle vigilance and anticipation. "It is unexpected to receive a proactive communication from you. I hope you and those... 'guests' are doing well on your end."

She deliberately avoided the names of Shinji, Asuka, and Rei, her tone thick with complex emotions.

Osiris (Second Avatar), representing the main body in this meeting, stood before the communication device. His voice rang out steadily. "Commander Katsuragi, it has been some time. They have adapted to their new environment and successfully completed their first live combat evaluation mission. Their performance met expectations."

Without any small talk, he cut straight to the point. "The purpose of this communication is to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation with WILLE."

Misato raised an eyebrow slightly, leaning forward. "Oh? What kind of cooperation?"

"I require EVA biological specimens," Osiris's words were shockingly direct. "Not complete, pilotable EVAs, but biological skeletons stripped of their core soul imprints, existing in a 'blank' state. They can be clones of Unit-01, Unit-02, or any relatively complete EVA biological structure you can provide."

Misato's pupils contracted, and a flash of shock and disbelief crossed her face.

"EVA biological specimens... do you realize what you are asking for? This is core technology that NERV, and even SEELE, regard as the highest secrecy! Furthermore, stripping soul imprints—how is that even possible?" Her voice rose involuntarily.

"I will handle the technical feasibility," Osiris's tone remained flat, as if stating a pre-established fact. "What you need to provide are 'shells' that have undergone basic genetic tuning and possess standard EVA biological activity. I can provide the specific technical requirements and safety protocols for their use."

He paused briefly to let Misato process the information before throwing down his bargaining chips. "In exchange, WILLE will receive the following resources: First, continuous technical support, including but not limited to maintenance and optimization of your existing EVA units, further improvements to the Dummy Plug system, and analysis of countermeasures against potential SEELE technologies."

"Second, material aid. I can provide WILLE with high-energy-density power units, high-performance alloys, and advanced medical equipment and supplies. These will help you maintain survival and combat effectiveness in this collapsing world."

"Third, when necessary, I can provide limited, non-direct combat interdimensional support."

In the holographic projection, Misato fell into silence. Ritsuko Akagi, standing behind her, stepped forward and engaged in a rapid, low-voiced exchange with her, clearly analyzing the impact and possibility of this proposal.

Requesting EVA biological bodies was equivalent to asking for one of the foundations upon which WILLE and humanity stood to oppose the Angels and SEELE. However, the exchange conditions offered—especially the stable energy and materials—were immensely tempting for a WILLE struggling with resource scarcity.

"Why?" Misato looked up, her sharp gaze fixing on Osiris's image. "What do you need these 'shells' for? To build more... 'EVA Titans'?"

"Yes," Osiris admitted frankly. "I need them to serve as the cores of war machines. In my world, we face threats distinct from the Angels but equally severe. EVA biotechnology, combined with my mechanical and energy technology, can create strategic assets of immense value."

He did not describe the specific details of the Warhammer universe but emphasized the urgency and strategic value of the requirement.

"Does this mean we will be indirectly participating in the wars of your world?" Ritsuko interjected, her tone solemn.

"You are providing raw materials, not combat personnel. The use and responsibility for the final products rest with me," Osiris drew a clear line. "This is a transaction. WILLE provides the biological templates and cultivation environments; I provide technology, resources, and survival guarantees. Each takes what they need."

Silence fell over the communication channel once more, broken only by the faint hum of equipment from the WILLE command center. Misato and Ritsuko were clearly locked in a fierce internal struggle. Giving up EVA biological specimens was high-risk, involving the core of ethics, security, and technology. But if they refused, WILLE might never obtain such stable and high-quality external aid, leaving their prospects in the long struggle against SEELE looking grim.

After a long while, Misato took a deep breath, as if making a final decision. "We need time for internal discussion and technical evaluation. We cannot give you an answer immediately."

"Very well," Osiris responded. "I will give you five standard days. The preliminary order requirement is ten standard EVA biological skeletons. If cooperation is reached, at least one 'blank body' for experimental use must be provided within one month."

He sent over a more detailed list of technical parameters and a proposed resource exchange catalog. "This is the preliminary cooperation framework and resource list for your reference."

Misato received the data and quickly scanned the specifications for power units, alloy performance parameters, and the medical equipment list. Her expression grew increasingly grave. The supplies provided were indeed what WILLE desperately needed.

"We will consider this seriously. In five standard days, regardless of the result, we will give you an answer," Misato finally said, her voice regaining its composure as a commander.

The communication ended.

On WILLE's flagship, a heavy silence shrouded the command center. Misato and Ritsuko looked at each other, their eyes reflecting the same weight—and a complex glimmer of hope at seeing a possible path through a desperate situation. They had just made a decision that would bind WILLE's future to an unknown cosmic power, a move where the risks and opportunities were equally massive.

"We need to begin technical evaluations immediately," Ritsuko broke the silence, her voice returning to the calm of a research chief. "Specifically, the 'blank body' concept the other party proposed needs its feasibility verified."

Misato took a deep breath, re-centering her decisiveness. "Correct. Meanwhile, have the logistics department begin an inventory of our stores and requirements. Prioritize the list of most urgently needed supplies. We must be fully prepared."

While WILLE began operating at high efficiency due to this major decision, Osiris's second avatar in the Nexum synchronized the full communication record and analysis report with the main body.

The stream of information crossed dimensions and was instantly received and processed by Osiris's main body in the laboratory on Necromunda. Within his logic core, the priority of the "EVA Titan Mass Production Project" was significantly elevated. WILLE's tentative response was a positive signal, but the final agreement was not yet signed, and the supply channel for biological cores was not yet fully secured.
