By the Emperor's right side was the Empress, and to his left, Nathan. In some seats by the side, were the two princesses.
The Empress stepped forward the perfect image of elegance, yet there was an underlying nervousness in her stance. It only took someone with an eagle eye, someone like me, to notice it.
