The duo got to school after dropping off at Nathaniel's place of work to get their delicious ice-cream. Luke crave for it that morning to go with his good mood.... But that good mood was over before it could even start...
"nerdy..... Twin of mine" Blake called out to him as he got out his car.
"what do you want Blake am not in a mood to talk to you right now ok so fuck off" Luke muttered as he passes his twin down the parking lot
"Hey Lukey you know we are twins after all"
"ooh, I didn't know that Blake" Luke said unfazed by his brother's way of persuading him if he likes something of his or something outside. Blake has always been that way since they were little and he grew up with him to know him well or should we put it all too well.
"stop being a pussy and let's talk about something private please" Blake spoke with need in his voice
"Blake, if it is the car there is no talking about it. It belongs to me not you and beside it was gramps who gave it to me so go talk to him and fucking let me be" Luke shut his brother down before he could say something else "and for the record you have tge best things among us twins, you get the best clothes, shoes, phones, I Pads and many more but what do I have nothing just your remains and the one you deem not fit for you to wear anymore. I've been living in your shadow for long and the only time I got something better than yours, you come to me for negotiation..... Not anymore Blake, not anymore "he says as he hisses out some groaning words before walking out with Nathaniel who tailed after him living Blake standing in the parking lot alone with his sister who stood by hearing the exchange take place.
".... that was messed up " Tia said as she turned around, walking to the main school building.
"fuck..... Fuck" Blake cursed under his voice as he locks the car putting the car key in his pocket walking after his sister.
The rest of the day was not too bright for Luke because of the little exchange he had with his brother earlier and it put some toe on him as he could hardly concentrate in class cause he was still annoyed.
"Hey, calm down a little would you" Nathaniel said putting an embracing hand on Luke's shoulder "I know you may be angry with what your brother said earlier but you got to let go of what he said and just move on" he added....
"I Know... it is just that my world revolves around him every time and every day. Now the only time I get something that outshines him he wants it and he gives me the one that he despises that what makes me angry" Luke said as he and Nathaniel sat in the school cafeteria with the food they ordered
"..... That kinda socks" there was a brief silence between them till it turned awkwardly quiet
"I'll live on time today for the tutorial I will be having later this afternoon" Luke was the first to break the silence hanging on the air.
Nathaniel blinked twice like trying to recall what Luke was saying before he pouts "then who's gonna take me home then and beside you forgot I've got training to do" he announced as they continued eating their food
"OK then I will wait for you, But hey..... What training are you talking about????"
"I didn't tell that I just joined the basketball team finally after many attempts in entering but I was able to get in after they made me play with one of their average player..... But the good thing is that I beat him and got in the team" Nathaniel spoke with sparks in his eyes.
'what a moronic idiot I have as a friend' Luke thought as he shakes his head.
Really there is this thing that got Luke being interested in Nathaniel and now he really doesn't know what it is that is drawing him in to this boy sitting in front of him. Was it like Ness or was he just found of him cause he doesn't really have friends outside his family and when you talk about family he means his mom and gramps... Which caused him being lonely until he met this boy 'Nathaniel' or was it something else that he didn't know yet.
"alright I'll wait for you then..... But please make it as quickly as possible so I can live, I have lot of things to do and you know it" Luke said as he turned to look at the entrance his face immediately turned distasteful at the sight of his twin Blake.
"showing off as ever..... Now I get it why you where mad at him, thank God I don't have to be in your shoes or be you or have a sibling like him. Am grateful cause I would've nailed him outside our house for all to see" Nathaniel laughs
Luke too joined in the laughter as he says "good one.... Good one, you really got me to shake of my anger but it still gets to me sometimes. No all the time I would say".
"then find someone or something else to distract you when you see him, it works for me since I found out"
"distract my self from him with what....."
Nathaniel smiles "like me... use me as a distraction or maybe still your mom or gramps"
Luke signs as he let out a groan to hide the flustering blushes thzt was creeping up his neck, 'I can't take it anymore when he says words like that without thinking.... And why am I blushing to his words. What is going on with me'.... "yeah.... I hope it works".
Just then the bell rang as the duo made for the exit not even bating his brother or sister an eye, he completely despise them for being a prick to him and he hates himself for not fighting back. 'Just like Nate said it really socks'.
As he walked to class sitting like there has been a dead weight on him all day with a sign he brought out his phone to check how many people has applied for his tutorials and the fact that a gaps left his mouth was really literally something that changed his mood.
"seventeen and Nathaniel making the round figure of eighteen, this is great..... I got to tell him later" it was Nathaniel that Luke was referring to in his head cause the tutorial was his idea and he knows that he would be forever grateful thanks...
As the day drew to a close he was getting nervous about the lessons that he will be doing later in..... And with him knowing that Nathaniel would also be among the students he would be teaching and the thought of that just made him feel nervous for no reason.

The bell rang through the halls and classroom signaling the students the end of the day. Luke lazily walked out from his classroom making his way to the courtyard to watch Nathaniel not knowing why he agreed to watch the play or see him play but the thought of it was frustrating, "there is no turning back now I guess" he said as he pushed the doors to the gym open and made his way to the courtyard.
Him sitting down on the chairs was so much work for him that alone made the whole thing worse. But he promised so he must endure.
Nathaniel walked in with his new gears for playing and in the sights of the fan girl and the boy on the side lines who just came in he was breath taking making their mouth dry.
He noticed Luke on the side lines and waved to him but the other guy just waved a little before facing somewhere else other than him, he found it a little suspicious but decided to live it till later.....
'WTF, what is wrong with me. He waved at me with that outfit and I flustered about it..... No no no this can't be right but for some reason it feels right and great' the thought of things kept running wild free in Luke's head making it difficult for him to see the game for sometime.
When he raised his eyes just on time to see the other guy running like the wind in the field and light on his feet it made him forget just how to breathe for a few seconds.....
Something in him has changed and now he knew that he wasn't the same Luke he was and it was because of this guy in front.
... Because of Nathaniel and that scares him.
