Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: Infinite Fury - The Hulk Returns

Bruce was on the run, carrying Betty, who was slowly waking up from her coma.

He had just turned a corner when he saw Police searching room by room.

These Soldiers were all heavily armed, causing him to immediately turn and leave the moment he saw them.

Without the ability to transform into the Hulk, he had almost no power to resist; with his half-baked Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he would probably be knocked to the ground by these two Police in one encounter.

So he wisely chose to avoid them.

The result was that he had just avoided this group of Police.

When he turned another corner, he found another group of Soldiers coming towards him.

General Ross had deployed a large number of people, and when they began to search the theater in sections, it meant that the theater had already become a net from which there was no escape.

Bruce's repeated avoidance was useless, as he once again discovered other searchers.

These people had already begun to gradually corner him.

He was like a turtle in a jar, which described his current situation.

Unwilling to be captured like this, he began to search everywhere for places to hide, but there were simply too few places for him to hide.

This was not a maze, but a large opera house.

It was one of the busiest places, and there were no secret places at all.

But Bruce did not think so; he was still trying his best.

He dodged left and right, trying his best to avoid the sight of the Police and searchers.

Then, taking advantage of their inattention, he immediately rushed into a room.

This room looked like an actor's dressing room, and in fact, it was an actor's dressing room.

However, there was not just one actor in it.

A partially dressed woman was intimately with a man, and Bruce's sudden intrusion obviously disturbed their pleasant time.

"What the hell, who are you people?" the woman shrieked the moment she saw Bruce and Betty, while the black-haired Asian man immediately shouted at them.

"Please, don't scream.

Someone is chasing us, please let us hide!" Bruce quickly pleaded, but the man was not willing to listen to his explanation at all.

"Do you think you can get away with making up a random excuse, huh!"

He moved the dancer he was holding behind him and began to walk towards Bruce step by step.

It was then that Bruce realized this was an extremely strong man.

His body was covered in streamlined muscles, and he had a fierce face; he did not look like someone easy to talk to at all.

As a civilian, Bruce was least adept at dealing with such people.

He quickly raised his hands, indicating that he had no ill intentions.

But the man still rushed forward relentlessly.

Clearly, for him, physical aggression was the priority.

He grabbed Bruce and lifted him off the ground, then directly pressed him against the wall.

The hard wall made Bruce's entire back ache terribly.

What he cared about more, however, was Betty, who had slumped to the ground.

She had not yet recovered from the effects of the tranquilizer, so once she lost someone else's help, she simply could not stand on her own.

"pal, my girlfriend is sick.

Can you have some sympathy and let us go?" Bruce was still pleading, but he was met with the Asian man's spit and sneer.

"I'm sorry, I, Li Gonggong, have been fighting in underground boxing for so many years, and the one thing I can't learn is sympathy."

After saying that, he had already delivered a heavy punch to Bruce's stomach.

This punch was as fast as lightning; almost instantly, his muscles exploded with power.

This guy named Li Gonggong was, as he said, a professional underground boxer.

And people like him never hold back when they fight.

This resulted in Bruce immediately suffering a severe blow.

The intense pain from his abdomen made his entire body lurch forward instantly, and even his eyes seemed to bulge out of their sockets.

"Quite durable, aren't you?"

Seeing that Bruce was fine after taking his punch, the man named Li Gonggong pressed him against the wall and hit him several more times, until Bruce could no longer hold back and spat out blood before he stopped.

At this point, Bruce no longer had the strength to stand; he slumped to the ground.

The man named Li Gonggong then began to walk towards Betty, who was lying on the ground.

"Don't just cower there!

Come help and see if these two have anything valuable on them!" He shouted at the dancer while reaching his hand towards Betty.

"Gonggong, do we really have to do this?" The dancer seemed a bit scared; she had not thought of doing such a thing.

But Li Gonggong did not care if she was scared or not.

He had already reached his hand into Betty's embrace.

"Damn it, don't you even carry money when you go out?"

"But, pal.

Your girlfriend feels quite substantial." Under Betty's embarrassed and angry gaze, Li Gonggong made various lewd gestures without any regard.

And his actions were naturally seen by Bruce.

Bruce's mind was filled with extreme anger.

He struggled to get up and let out a threatening growl at Li Gonggong.

"Take your dirty hands off her!"

"What, what did you say?" Li Gonggong cupped his hand to his ear, pretending to listen.

Then he viciously kicked Bruce in the face, sending him flying.

"What do you think you are, a weakling!

You're just a good-for-nothing who can't even protect his own woman."

These words were like a knife that plunged into his heart, making him instantly lose all reason.

A man unable to protect his own woman—this was simply the most ridiculous thing in the World.

And now, Bruce Banner had become such a ridiculous existence.

His heart began to pound madly, and endless rage erupted within his heart.

In the past, such furious rage would have been enough to bring out the Hulk, but now, it only gave him a bit of extra strength out of thin Qi.

"Let her go, you scum!" Bruce stood up; although he was now bleeding from his head, he still stubbornly walked towards Li Gonggong.

"Ha, what do you want to do?" Looking at Bruce, whose entire face was starting to show purplish veins, Li Gonggong's face showed a disdainful smile.

He lunged forward, and a shoulder tackle sent him flying, making him fall heavily to the ground like a piece of wood.

Bruce, who had already begun to get used to this pain, had not yet gotten up when Li Gonggong straddled him.

His two arms went to work, raining down punches on him.

The muffled thuds of flesh meeting flesh echoed in the room, causing tears to stream from Betty's eyes.

She was still unable to move, and could not even cry for help, which left her only able to watch Bruce being beaten like a punching bag.

The beating finally stopped, and Betty felt her own heart was about to go mad.

She began to worry about Bruce, fearing that something might happen to him at the hands of this lunatic.

This made her struggle to move like a worm, wanting to get a little closer to Bruce.

But Li Gonggong stepped on her foot, rendering all her efforts useless.

And looking at this woman with despair in her eyes, Li Gonggong vigorously wiped his hands on his jacket, cleaning off the bloodstains, and then let out a strange laugh.

"Don't be afraid, madam.

Tonight we can have a good chat; I will do my best to comfort you."

Just at this moment, a violent heartbeat, like a drum roll, sounded.

Accompanying this dull drum sound was a gurgling sound like a flowing river—that was the sound of blood flowing.

As the drum sound became more and more rapid, and the flowing sound became more and more piercing.

Bruce's body, which had been limp on the ground, suddenly sat up.

A hint of green light appeared in his eyes, and as he slowly began to stand up, his body also began to change.

The giant appeared once again, and with a heavy Shadow, it oppressed the entire small room.

A low growl suddenly erupted from his throat, like thunder, full of rage that desperately needed to be vented.

The Hulk finally broke through all restraints and once again emerged from Bruce Banner's body.

His enormous body made everyone present feel immense pressure.

However, unlike how those who had seen the Hulk before reacted, Li Gonggong actually sneered.

"Ha, so you're a Mutant.

But do you think getting a little bigger will make any difference?

Let me tell you, even if you get bigger, you're still a good-for-nothing to me!"

After saying this, he suddenly rushed forward.

The Hulk, with a snort, immediately met him with his enormous fist.

In an instant, Li Gonggong became a human projectile, sent flying by the Hulk.

The reason he was called a human projectile was that the moment the Hulk attacked him, most of the bones in his body had already broken.

What flew out was not so much a person as a mass of flesh, a meatball wrapped in countless shattered bones.

This caused the dancer, who had been hesitating on the side, to instantly go mad.

She screamed for help and other things, then opened the door and rushed out.

The Hulk ignored her presence; he simply squatted down.

He silently picked up Betty.

Betty, though speechless at this moment, had eyes full of excitement.

In her opinion, they were finally saved.

But in the Hulk's opinion, this was just the beginning.

A group of Soldiers suddenly rushed in, apparently attracted by the dancer.

And the moment they saw the Hulk, they pulled their triggers without any hesitation.

Bullets spewed out, and the Hulk quickly turned his back, shielding Betty in his arms.

A burst of bullets quickly ran out, and the Hulk, taking advantage of this moment, smashed his fist onto the floor.

Immediately, various rumbling and crashing sounds came one after another.

The Soldiers only felt their feet shaking, and everything before their eyes trembling.

And they simply could not maintain their balance.

They quickly lay on the ground to prevent themselves from falling.

But they found that the floor beneath them seemed to be losing its ability to support them.

The floor began to collapse, not just one floor, but a large section.

In just an instant, they were swept into countless collapsing bricks, stones, and turbid currents, completely disappearing from the Hulk's sight.

This time, the Hulk did not turn and flee as he had in the past.

He looked at the ruins he had created.

He strode out, heading in the direction from which those Soldiers had come.

He wanted to fight, to show people how terrifying the angry Hulk truly was.
