Chapter 1 - 1

"This way! That bastard will finally die today!"

"That bitch will finally pay for it all!"

"He has to die this time."

"Are you sure he's a guy? After all we haven't seen that persons face and the name..."

"He has to be after all the atrocities he has committed!"

"Forget it all. For now we chase that person, he will die today. No he has to."

In a field where the ground was filled with bodies, the air dyed hues of a blood red, and weapons scattered across the earth like fallen teeth… countless people chased after one cloaked figure.

In that field where the soil drank more blood than water, tens of thousands of avatars chased after one user… the username was simple— Val.

'Haha these dumbasses… yes keep chasing me… almost there!'

Val held back a chuckle, the cloaked figure's body bloody and torn.

A female blonde paladin avatar led the largest group as she shouted,

"VAL! You bitch! Today you will finally die by my hands!"

Her voice filled with fury and hatred as she chased the figure ahead.

'That stupid bitch is so obsessed with me… I swear she needs to find a hobby! Oh well I'm almost there, hehe…'

Val kept dashing forward dodging the barrage of spells, weapons, and techniques.

The army behind Val closed in, the cloaked figure's speed dropping due to the injuries but it was all according to the plan.

Val kept running… almost there… just a bit more… almost…

"HAHAHA, you dumb fucks actually thought you had me!"

Val turned around and yelled out loudly, the sight Val saw turning around would send shivers down any being.

Armies upon armies.

Celestial armies descended from the air and marched on land—

An army of seraphs with wings like burning silk and burning halos dove from the clouds.

Countless dragons cut through the sky like storms, their scales reflecting different affinities each dragon manipulated as naturally as breathing.

Hoards of phoenixes screamed across the sky, leaving trails of embers reflecting different hues that rained down like meteors.

Human battalions surged forward in gleaming armor, their banners shredded the wind as they advanced on ground.

Elven legions advanced in formation, their blades singing with ancient light.

Beast and constructs of every origin charged beside them— wolves made of shadow, golems of molten rock, spirits glowing hues of different affinities.

The charge was led by groups of paladins, sword masters and archmages— each possessing tremendous power.

Above, each wingbeat tore through the clouds, each roar split the heavens open.

Below, armies of every race stretched endlessly, their banners forming waves of color and war.

The sight Val saw was not just battle—it was the convergence of the world's wrath, a sight so absolute in its fury that even gods would find their hands shaking.

From horizon to horizon, every race, every creature, every soldier—was united by one goal: to bring down the lone figure who refused to fall.

A single cloaked figure— Val.

Val had about 10 seconds before the wrath of the world landed upon him— and then he smiled.

"HAHAHA… THIS IS FUN! YES! SO MUCH FUN!"

Val's voice cried out in pure ecstasy carrying a strange duality—soft and high-pitched enough to be mistaken for a girl's at first, but there was a childlike innocence… almost like a young boy.

Val began to form a hand signal as the world converged in front of him… this was the moment!

The moment that he had planned for over a year, pouring in countless resources and time… a trap!

A trap large enough to destroy everything… to bring upon ruin— the power to descend a god!

The amount of mana stored to power the trap took vast amount of resources, enough to cause a ripple throughout the market.

The research into the sigils that wove together was immense, information gathered from each part of the world to enhance the effects.

For a single person to pull this off was impossible, the tasks performed to prepare for this would barely be possible if an entire top organization dropped everything to only focus on it.

The capital, the manpower, the research, as well as keeping it secret— just impossible.

But Val had done it! He was ready… he weaved hand sign after hand sign activating each part of the trap.

'5 more seconds till they reach me… it's enough.'

"That bastard robbed our royal treasury! He took the founding kings sword, a sacred relic, then broke it saying his sword was better and he wasted the trip looking for a replacement! I swear.."

"The clans eternal flame which has burned since the beginning was taken by that bitch! She said it would apparently make her stew more profound! We will finally kill…"

"The research our mage tower has done for decades! Our proprietary information that could turn this world upside down! He stole it just to disclose all the information after he got bored of using the magic! I swear I will kill him…"

Val continued to weave hand sign after hand sign, a magic that was forgotten— sigils.

'Haha… some of these bastards still think I'm a girl! Do I really sound that much like a girl?'

The world descended upon Val, but he remained composed as he weaved another hand sigil.

'2 more seconds till I die… it's enough. However these fuckers are so petty! If they have treasures shouldn't they share it?'

Val was consumed in his thoughts not knowing why they were so mad just because he stole a few sacred relics and artifacts, the armies around him had ecstatic smiles as they closed in on him.

The blonde female paladin leading the charge drew her holy bow, the bow materialized out of thin air as if made from light… she nocked… drew… fired. A beam of light.

"Young master, there was a package for you."

A young boy looked away from the screen hearing the voice, he looked away from his avatar— Val.

A moment of hesitation flickered as his eyes slipped from the screen. His grip on the controller loosened— not fully released, but enough for his thumbs to falter mid-motion.

The rhythm of his movements broke.

He looked back instant and focused onto his avatar— Val.

BOOM.

A beam of light pierced Val's chest.

Stab. Pierce. Crackle. Cut. Burn. Snap. Freeze. BOOOM.

A sword stabbed through Val's thigh drawing blood.

A spear pierce through Val's shoulder shattering bone.

Thunder descended upon Val's body paralyzing muscles.

Frost gathered at Val's feet splintering toes into shards.

A mace smashed against Val's skull cracking it.

Fire torched Val's torso burning skin into ashes.

Battalions upon battalions descended from the heavens.

Legions upon legions marched forth through bloodied soil.

"Fuck. Fuck. No way. I'm actually dead. Yea it's over. Hahahaha"

The young boy cried out, his voice filled with disbelief as if what he saw on the screen was a lie.

The avatar Val was about to die…

The Hp bar was dropping rapidly, no it dropped from 50% to under 5% in a second!

4%. 3%. 2%.

"Fuck this! I'm taking everyone with me."

The young boy said, his voice calm— too calm as he looked at the screen with apathy.

Mana output at 100%.

Val's body was gone— disintegrating basically. Holes throughout his entire body as pixels floated off the avatar. There were no feet to take a step, there were no hands left to form a sigil, there was nothing belonging to Val.

No instructions could be passed through the controls as there was no vessel to receive the command.

The young boy's lips curved into the faintest trace of a smile, a whisper of expression that barely disturbed his calm.

The violet of his deep amethyst eyes brightened, touched by a luminous magenta glow, as though emotion itself had stirred the color to life.

0%.

Val died.

"GG."

"[Singularity]"

The young boy spoke, a whisper under his breath.

The world was destroyed.
