After hearing Tony's "persuasion," everyone finally reacted.
Yes—what they saw was only Tony's ending in the original timeline, the one where they had not obtained the spoiler system.
It didn't mean Tony was destined to die that way now.
And since they knew what kinds of threats were coming in the future…
As long as they prepared in advance, there would definitely be a solution.
Thinking of this, everyone slowly let out a breath of relief.
Nick Fury turned to Natasha.
"Natasha, the people who appeared in that video—did you memorize all of them?"
"Of course," Natasha replied. "Besides the people here in the theater, there were also Coulson, Dr. Banner, and Linen on the streets of New York."
"Wanda appeared during the scene where the island was falling from the sky."
"Colonel Rhodes and that guy called Falcon—Sam—I've seen both in previous videos."
"But when Steve faced Thanos alone… right before the portals opened… Linen landed beside him. Then dozens of portals appeared and countless people came out."
She paused, then added, "Oh—and the guy who rode the spaceship with Tony."
"Stephen Strange."
Hearing this, Tony leaned in.
"That guy's name is Stephen Strange. He's the most famous neurosurgeon in the United States."
"He works at a hospital six blocks from Stark Industries."
Natasha blinked. "Wait—how do you know that?"
"When I escaped from the cave, I wanted surgery to remove the shrapnel near my heart," Tony explained.
"So I consulted a lot of doctors—including him."
When Tony mentioned Strange, his face twisted.
"Well… he's an arrogant, self-righteous jerk."
Hearing Tony's evaluation, Natasha, Fury, and even Thor looked at him with strange expressions.
"Huh?" Tony muttered.
Thor leaned over. "These descriptions… I'm sure I've heard them before. Ah—yes, Tony, that's exactly how you used to describe yourself."
Tony rolled his eyes.
Okay—maybe he really was a jerk like Strange.
But geniuses were often like that.
While they whispered among themselves, Peter Parker sat nearby, staring anxiously.
The video of Tony and the others had shocked him deeply.
He never imagined that the universe they were in was so dangerous.
In his own world, the worst villains Peter had ever fought were Dr. Lizard and a few petty criminals.
Most days, he just helped old ladies cross the street or caught small-time thieves.
He couldn't imagine what his universe would look like if those alien armies suddenly appeared.
Wait.
Peter froze mid-thought.
Mr. Stark had just said these were all events that would happen in the future.
Didn't that mean the same things might happen in his universe too?
A chill ran down his spine.
No—he had to tell Mr. Reed when he got back.
As a member of the Fantastic Four, Reed Richards might have a way to prevent these disasters.
Just as Peter was lost in thought, Natasha's narration echoed:
[Do you think you're the only monster on this team?]
The screen lit up.
Natasha turned to Bruce Banner.
"You're not the only special one on this team…"
Everyone in the theater looked over curiously.
But this time, the video didn't reveal Natasha's childhood.
Instead, in front of a transparent containment chamber built for the Hulk inside S.H.I.E.L.D.—
Loki sneered at Natasha.
"Do you think you're a decent person?"
"In order to survive, you once ignored right and wrong and killed innocent people without hesitation. Your sins are too many to count."
"You lied for liars, killed for killers—and now you claim you're on the side of justice."
"No matter how righteous you pretend to be… how are you different from me?"
Natasha's expression darkened.
The scene changed to a lounge.
When Natasha insisted on joining the fight in New York, Clint frowned.
"Maybe Loki got in your head. Fighting aliens isn't really your specialty."
"I have a lot of blood on my hands," Natasha answered quietly.
"I'm trying to atone for it."
Her eyes grew firm.
On the streets of New York—
Natasha dual-wielded pistols, shooting Chitauri without hesitation.
Then she leaped onto a Chitauri skimmer in mid-air, flipping over it with no regard for her own safety.
Above falling Sokovia—
Natasha fired at Ultron's robots again and again.
In Washington—
Natasha evacuated civilians while dodging gunfire…
until the Winter Soldier shot her in the shoulder.
[I used to have nothing.
But now I have a place, a job, and a family.
They made me a better person.
So I have to protect this family.]
The footage shifted to Tony Stark's party.
Natasha stood at the counter mixing drinks, smiling warmly as she chatted with Dr. Banner.
The next moment—
At the airport, the Avengers were split into two sides, charging toward each other.
Standing on Tony's side, Natasha rushed into battle without hesitation.
But during her fight with Hawkeye, both clearly held back.
Later—in a hospital hallway—
Tony, with his left hand bandaged, glared at Natasha.
"You just can't change your style, can you, Miss Spy? You betrayed me again and let Steve go."
"You know why I insisted on signing that agreement. I was trying to protect our team."
As Tony stormed off, Natasha, silent as always, looked slightly defeated.
The next scene showed Natasha sitting with her feet on a table, eating a sandwich while staring at Linen—who was crying.
Seeing herself on the screen, Natasha frowned.
She had seen this video before.
So Tony and Steve brought their teams to fight each other…
Did that happen before the snap?
Why were they fighting at an airport?
Was it because of the agreement?
The same agreement Tony mentioned multiple times?
